Winners Circle

Another fantastic season of panel bashing has come to an end! One of TORA's most loved series has delivered another calendar full of great, close racing and nail biting action. Thank you everyone who showed up as these series don't happen without people to race in them and a huge thank you to everyone for hosting lobbies when staff couldn't. Great job Mikey for setting this up again, hopefully we will see this again next year!

Now to the bits that everyone has been waiting for! With close action and great racing comes some really close finishes and this year is no different. We will start with the driver's championship which this year was won by less than 1% of the total points earned!

And now the Teams Championship in which all 6 top scorers for all 3 teams were in the top 7 for the driver's championship too!

Griptek Performance (Audi S3) with 5134pts




For the Independent Championship where many congratulations are in order to The Racing Nova who has managed to defend his title from FM6 and retained his crown!

 VPR AnonCaliga (Virtual Pirtek Racing T2) with 2084pts




Finally we have a very special competition which holds a place dear to TORA's heart. Named after a fallen racer, gone but never forgotten, the Steven Colgate Hard Charger Award. Given to the driver who gained the most places overall from grid to finish, this was also a close and tough battle between a fair few drivers. Well done to everyone who charged hard and took part in this one but the leaderboard looks like this:

 SFM Zai with 55 places
 GTR Tactical with 51 places
 EVR MeaD 212 with 46 places

A huge congratulations to all of the drivers and teams who got on those podiums and another huge thank you to everyone for showing up and having fun! We tend to run 5-6 different weekly series each year during this timeslot. Plan is for that to continue, as it actually works well at bringing the most variety we can.
