TORA GRID Autosport - Series 1 Championships vote

Hi everyone

Firstly, a huge thanks to everyone who raced in the Demolition Derby. It was huge fun, I was literally tearing up with laughter in the last race, finishing with a wheel and a half and no steering at all! We will definately be returning to DD in the future, but right now, let's take a look at some more civilised motorsport...

The way future championships on GRID Autosport will work is by a 4-5 week 'stint' running two championships in the week on different disciplines. Once the stint has finished, seeing how popular a return to the Demolition Derby was, we'll probably have a couple of rounds with Demolition Derby before the next stint

One of these championships will likely be pre-determined following discussion between TORA Staff, CT, Codemasters, and myself, depending on what is going on at TORA etc. The other championship will be voted on by the community, being given a choice of a few suggestions I've had previously.

As such, I'm glad to announce that one of the next championships in GRID Autosport Series 1 will be the MSA TORA Trans Am Cup on Friday. This will use the Classic Muscle Cup class in the Tuner discipline, racing the Plymouth AAR Cuda and the Dodge Challenger R/T. These cars are fairly cheap, so you're welcome to buy the cars and paint and tune them. However, upgrades will be forced off.

You may note that the calendars of each championship are loosely based off of their real-world counterparts, bar the street racing, which is loosely based off of the final rounds in GRID 2.

Will it be same time slot? I went for Single Seaters btw

I think it may go to 8PM BST, but not 100% sure.

Trans Am will take the DD slot, or round abouts that time area on Friday. The second championship will be on another day, the date/time of which will be dependant on the availability at the time.

Trans Am Slot looks like the perfect time for me, but will see what happens with the second championship.

I voted for open wheelers but happy whatever the outcome.

Touring car

It's Formula B vs Touring Car with just one vote between them, poll closes at 9pm BST!

I'm so tired, I ended up voting for Forumla B, when I meant to vote for Touring. XD
I'm okay with Formula B, so it's not too bad.
