HCR Super T wrote:Any news on wat the quali and race format will be?
Ah yes, With all the other things going on I forgot to say about the race format.
Quali - 3 Flying laps. (Out lap/ 3 flying /Cooldown)
Race - One 11 lap race. Pit window to be announced on day but expect it to be around lap 3-8.
Regarding points it will be double points so an important meeting for anyone wanting to climb up the ranking.
Sound okay to everyone?
Enjoy!

Idk about anyone else but seeing as you lot are under 4 mins and i cant do a out lap under 4:10 it is pointless posting.
If i can get it clean 4:05.xxx seems about it for me.

Re: Porsche Supercup General discussion
Well that was crap. Having to put a roll off because of certain circumstances. But hey hoe, on to Laguna seca.
Well done to Hamish on that win was catching you half way though mate but just couldnt keep up on your pace once you got into your grove.
Sorry to all today in A lobby.

Re: Porsche Supercup General discussion
Absolute disaster, all quali laps dirty and then race was a nightmare after a laggy car caused frontal damage to my own car. Onto the next round, cheers for hosting Dave, can't remember who took over the hosting duties but cheers there also.
Re: Porsche Supercup General discussion
Poor racing tonight in my opinion, really don't see why we need a roll off to start a race as we're all mature enough to go around the 1st few corners without taking half the field off but obviously not. Shame I got lag bombed too. Hopefully will be better at Laguna next time out

Next time maybe a rolling start might work better. Not a fan of the roll off delay.

Cheers Steven. I couldn't get away from you at the start lol, you were right on my pace for the first few laps and were never far away for the whole race. I had one bum clenching moment with the twinkies which i was very lucky not to spin into the wall.
Good race in all, shame about the start but nobody's race was ruined before the 1st corner.

Re: Porsche Supercup General discussion
my worst night of racing since joining tora one year ago, terrible qualifying then my xbox froze upon the restart, but i do appreciate the guys for waiting for me to rejoin.
but on a whole the standard of racing was pretty poor all round last night.
Admit the grid set up at LeMans is a bit of a squeeze but i had visions of the chicane being the problem, not the case, we couldn't get more than 500ft away from the line twice.
Nevermind, onwards and upwards as they say, to another track with a dodgy start line and first corner
Should be interesting

Re: Porsche Supercup General discussion
We were all fine with starts at leMans 24 hr... other races there too have been fine. I will be more happy if i could have the 12 seconds i lost because of the roll off awarded to my total time.
By the time i was able to start the race HCR Hamish in 1st place was nearing 2.500 ft away from me and that gap never shrank. I feel like i was penalized because of other drivers misfortunate driving skills.
I dropped back in the race to race with dragonsyoung because racing round here was bloody boring on your own.
Oh well... looking forward to laguna.

Re: Porsche Supercup General discussion
To be honest as we said I'd much rather have the roll of than having to restart about 40 times because someone in the grid doesn't know how to take it easy and give room and I know it was kind of a penalty but in the end we finished on time.

There are many ways to respond to this statement ...THO Shooter wrote:We were all fine with starts at leMans 24 hr... other races there too have been fine. I will be more happy if i could have the 12 seconds i lost because of the roll off awarded to my total time.

1. Shooter your Qual and inrace lap times proved you finished where you should have...
2. Shooter YOU WERE THE REASON FOR TWO OF THE RESTARTS...just saying
3. Qual better and you wont have to run over people on your way to second gear ..
We are headed to LAGUNA wine country
So be a wino not a whiner
On a brighter note finally made Alobby and pulled out a brighter7th \m/

Do I really need to say two weeks in a row to not talk about incidents that happened during the race on the forums?
