I am thinking 3 laps. So set to 5 laps total 1 Out lap 3 flying and stop at first corner.
Also what are peoples thoughts on two 5/6 lap or one big race of maybe 10/11 laps. Doing one saves a 10 mins formation lap. (Just saying) Will score it as either double points or just a single race.
Thoughts guys?

Re: Porsche Supercup General discussion
i think a long double points race would be much better, include a mandatory pit stop too

Re: Porsche Supercup General discussion
Just ran an 8 lap run, total time as i crossed the line was 29:34.6xx
I think a 12 lap race, including one mandatory pit stop will be epic!

Re: Porsche Supercup General discussion
I agree with Shooter Sounds awesome! But i think that a 5 lap qualy is needed (out/3 fliers/stop)
Re: Porsche Supercup General discussion
I think one 12 lap race would be good. Liking the idea of a pitstop as well.
In quali I think we will need at least 3 flying laps, you can ruin 2 laps with one error in the last sector which is incredibly easy to do. Could save time by going backwards at the start of quali would save you 3 mins.

I myself think/want a single race it could end up being quicker total time on the night as well, also a pit stop sounds entertaining. I'll leave it till the weekend for people to give us feed back and then make a decision.

Re: Porsche Supercup General discussion
OK. Sounds like we're decided. I'm going to move off topic to something a small bit more serious. Two things which have been on my mind since race night. One is I noticed that Hill9999 is new (which is great! ) but I did not hear a single peep from him the whole evening which was worrying at times because he wasn't calling out his passes. I almost took us both out at one point because he took me by surprise. Also I've noticed that during my time at TORA there have been a few occasions where a driver has come back on track into traffic without checking to see if it's safe first. This is obviously dangerous and can cause huge crashes. I'm just concerned that the rules either aren't being read properly (which needs to be cracked down on) or aren't being enforced properly (less likely.) I've posted this here because there is no absolute general discussion. Thanks for listening; rant over.
Re: Porsche Supercup General discussion
I understand your point dude.
If anything needs looking into Sent myself/ Bandit or a Steward who is in the series (I think we have one/two that are) a replay and message us the lap it happened and the corner etc. This means we can judge ourself and see what we can do.
I appreciate you speaking out its what needs to be done as it needs sorting if and only if there is a clear problem as peoples race nights should not be ruined.
Cheers Steve.

To be honest I barely call my passes because as it is the driver who's making the passes responsibility, it is also the car being passed responsibility to check as well it's something I am used to myself and don't see anything wrong with not speaking it just means he concentrating is all.

Re: Porsche Supercup General discussion
Thanks Steve nothing major happened so nothing is needed
Yes it is the forward car's job to check for overtakes just incase and I do it very often no matter where I am or what racing game I'm playing. It just helps if someone does call it out because you want to make sure they know you need room. Again, the concentration thing is cool. I'd like to make sure Hill and other newcomers have the idea in their head that the rules and regs say you need a mic in and need to be in game chat

Re: Porsche Supercup General discussion
I agree that you do need a mic. To listen to instructions and for passing. However last round myself and Bluejabber were fighting and nether of us called a pass.
With myself using a wheel I cant look around like you guys on a controller. So a lot of the time I cant see anyone who is in my blind spots which is a reason I use the 15ft rule, so in that aspect calling a pass helps somethings but I have a good idea where people place there cars because we've raced together for getting on for 3 years now.

Rules are constantly being broken in this series and not looked at. I expected higer standards to be frank. But im adapting.

Explain.
I am about very loosely due to alot of Work and college so I rarely have time to practice yet alone manage on the forums as much as I want to. There has been a few things im looking into but Message me whats being broken and I will look into it. If rules are being broken on track due to adventurous lines track limits and dangerous driving for instance we cannot do a thing unless a SI is put in.

I'm usually very quiet when setting up a pass myself. Unless I want to get inside their head with some banter, I prefer to sneak up and attack with a pass than give them a head's up, which can lead to the car I am attempting to pass becoming defensive.

I explained in a SI. After further inquiry I was informed SI's for Forza4 are no longer being policed.

This is false, there are stewards at least 1 at most race meetings.

Re: Porsche Supercup General discussion
They are being policed in the normal manner just by any stewards within the series and any staff/CT in it as well. The same standards/practices will be kept to keep our standards high as possible.
Annoying I know, but TORA must move on with FM5. (Dont get me started)
On a side note apoligise for any grammer and spelling mistakes im on my phone and away from home until late saturday.
Anyone up for some testing late Saturday evening? Say 10pm Uk time.

I too rarely call my moves and people rarely call there moves on me, and there is usually no contact at all. I am continuously checking where my competitors are in relation to me on the track, so communication is not needed much. It is both drivers responsibility to be aware of their surroundings regardless if a call out is made or not. Real drivers don't have a radio link to their competitors to warn them! We are all good enough to keep it clean the majority of the time.
