Wow. Those were the most childish three pages I've ever read. I'm not going to weigh in because someone will get butthurt and public humiliation will ensue, however I'm surprised at how we've acted as a community to this and how we've turned against each other over something really rather trivial. Let's just get on with this championship and enjoy ourselves...huh?

If the real world was like this, then Nismo would have all the other LMP1 cars running at about 50% performance reductions to make the 2015 WEC fair for all.

100% agreed, and everything I have read trying to catch up is why I'm pretty sure I'm going to drop from the series. Could BOTH sides of each argument have handles things differently? Probably. I've wanted to weigh in on a few things in the past, but I'm usually pretty quiet and just "go with the flow". Whatever the community decides is fine by me. But that's where I see a big problem so far with this series. The "community" input has been largely dismissed. I also didn't want to voice my opinion because a lot of the issues have involved my team mate and I didn't want it to look like I was just taking his side. Trust me... I'm the first one to tell him to shut up and race, lol. But after seeing his comments treated like they have been, I was also "afraid" to speak up as well. Again, he could have also handled things differently, but I think the burden of patience goes on the series host. People are going to [Censored], but people are also going to make valid suggestions. Some suggestions come off as bitching and vice versa. As someone in charge of a series, you should want your series to be the best it can be. Sometimes you are going to miss things and the COMMUNITY will help remind you. Not every suggestion was meant as an attack, but they were all treated as if they were. And when they were, the only response was always "then why are you the only one saying anything?" 1st of all, that does not mean he is the only one thinking it, he is just the 1st one to voice his concern. And when the reaction is like it was, no one else wants to speak up. Personally, I'd like to thank some of the people that have had the courage to speak up and voice concerns. (And its not just one person) I had plenty of suggestions as well, but you guys were willing to put up with the backlash while I just sat back and said "well this sucks but what can i do about it". Hopefully a lot of mistakes will be corrected by learning from them during this series. I had hoped we could address as many as possibly before it started, because who knows how many new issues are going to pop up DURING the series itself. I think I will just wait for a few series on TORA to pass and hope all the kinks get worked out eventually. Here's hoping for a decent series soon on "the other racing site".

I 1000.1% concur with what Jeff said.

We don't like getting pushed around as much as the next guy or team, even though we are attempting to make things better.

So I too am withdrawing my privateer entry from the series

It's more a case of leniency. T1 is an area where cars do do wide and use the astro a bit.
As I posted before, continued or constant misuse of these areas will come under significant scrutiny. However, we appreciate that the odd occasion may result in a car going wide, or in the event of avoidance of another vehicle.

Ultimately, the rule is two wheels on tarmac at all times (within the white lines which define the track limits).
What we have tried to show here is areas where there is leniency as mentioned above.
This will perhaps come more into focus at circuits like Silverstone where there is significant tarmac run off areas which can be misused.

That's actually an excellent example of them NOT using it! It's also a little tough to see it from that camera angle.
If you jump to 6:44 on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDcLeTxm438 you'll see what I mean. There's a thin section to the left of the kerbing that does get used a little bit of an 'escape' if a car runs a bit wide. Most GT's seem to stay off it but with the BTCC mentality, I would expect some poeple to perhaps use it more than others, hence the leniency.
