I'm gonna say its user error
One query I had so far is why people who finished faster overall are below some who were slower overall.
The reason for this is that it's scored after stint 1 and stint 2.
If you out race someone in stint 1 by 3 places but they then outrace you by 2 places in stint 2 you'll still be ahead of them on points even though they were faster.
Re: TORA Avon Tyres British GT Championship: Results
still think stint 1&2 times should be added together to give 1 finishing position - you don't score an eduro at the halfway point and at the finish

I'll let someone else advise on that one. wasn't my decision to score it that way.
Re: TORA Avon Tyres British GT Championship: Results
In other words, it is not an endurance race. It is simply two races just like any other week. That's disappointing.
I think you had it right at first, where only the finishing time mattered, and each driver gets those points. I feel that is the fairest and accurately reflects the discussions leading up to this race.

The total time does matter.
The score after stint 2 is based on where you finished overall but you also score halfway too. It's written on the forum somewhere. I'll reply when I find it
Re: TORA Avon Tyres British GT Championship: Results
The real Silverstone 500 was scored at 1/2 distance and again at full distance.
Le Mans also does something very similar for the WEC entrants participating in that. Both very much endurance races.

It may have gone off the sheet. I'll check in a sec. Should be there in next half hour if not already. If your gt4 you'll need to scroll to bottom as gt3 are at top

Re: TORA Avon Tyres British GT Championship: Results
So I'm guessing there is still some tinkering to do with results?

Why would you say that?

It's sorted by total points which are in numerical order.
Re: TORA Avon Tyres British GT Championship: Results
Should we expect to see the results today or...?

Re: TORA Avon Tyres British GT Championship: Results
Can someone help clear up this for me please. If someone backs out during one of the races in a round, don't they get points behind EVERYONE who finishes the race in all lobbies? That's how DNF's and layouts have been handled in previous rounds right? I see some people who quit out in one of the races this weekend receiving a lot of points.

Re: TORA Avon Tyres British GT Championship: Results
No your right.
If you get a DNS you score 0
If you get a DNF you score behind the person who came last in the last lobby. This will be locked to class though so if there are say 100 drivers, 50 GT3 and 50 GT4, and your GT3 and DNF. you'd score for 50th not 100th because there are only 50 drivers in your class.

Re: TORA Avon Tyres British GT Championship: Results
Just to clear things up on how the scores work for a DNF
I've used F4H EGGY as an example from round 4, race 2
He was 9th in a Lobby (1st in GT4) so scored 100
He DNF'd race 2 where 15 of the GT4's finished putting him 16th (No-one else in A Lobby DNF'd) therefore scoring 73
Total of 173
If someone has not been scored for their DNF then firstly check the sheet to see if you were actually marked as a DNF and not DNS as a DNS scores 0. If you haven't got DNF marked down you will need to tell us and give us the proof (screenshot) or speak with whoever hosted your lobby and get them to confirm this so the table can be updated.
I can only put the data into the sheet that I receive so it's always best for you to take a screenshot just incase.
if your too slow and miss the option for a screenshot you can always use the record feature instead which can go back up to 10 minutes (30s by default but if you go into the Game DVR and choose end clip you can choose a much bigger time).
Hope this helps.
Any questions feel free to ask.

It seems that I've been scored for a lagout in race 1 of Spa. I finished the race, but lagged out right after. I forgot where I actually finished, but Deftone has the screenshot.
