I have no involvement with TORA balance testing anymore, so from an impartial point of view, I would agree with you Dizzy and Mike that the BMW seems to be struggling and is under represented. The other 4 cars are pretty close and evenly represented (given we've only had 2 tracks and the next track will favour cars with higher top speed like the Audi and Merc).

a car not being high up in a championship doesn't mean its slow....

not trying to [Censored] on anyone but ive seen most of the guys in this series race before, and as with any sport there is usually a pecking order, and looking at qualifying results (not points standings) it seems as usual regardless of cars the fast guys are at top

these CQR guys are crazy quick in touring cars. check the archive. no matter what car they would have picked. i guarantee they will still be at the top

7 TCC drivers/teams titles in 5 different cars, nobody could be that lucky and always pick 'the best' car - all cars have strengths and weaknesses, the key is getting the most out of what you've got.

Season 6 - CQR MAGiC - Drivers Champion (Kia cee'd)
Season 6 - CQR IKEA - Teams Champions (Kia cee'd)
Season 7 - CQR Champion - Drivers Champion (Renault Megane)
Season 7 - CQR Galaxy - Teams Champions (Honda Si Coupe)
Season 8 - CQR MAGiC - Drivers Champions (Seat Cupra)
Season 8 - CQR Fusion - Teams Champions (Seat Cupra)

Doesn't necessarily prove the order, especially with new drivers such as DizzyCupid519 who has proven he is near the top as far as pace is concerned.

Not just that but everything passes it at every corner and straight even in the lowest lobby it starts getting a bit stupid how all the other cars are allowed the tyre width adjustments but not the BMW

And to be honest if you have the quickest driver you will win but it is stupid how the car that is doing horribly is bein penalised

hybrid is fast and can beat 95% of people on this site so my money goes with him all day long....

after the race sure. also to anyone interested i put a bmw tune up this morning which i managed a 25 6 with. try it an see if it helps

The BMW is no where near as bad as you lot are making out to be. The main difference that I've found is its harder to drive and tune than the other cars in the series.

I will give your setup a try and see what happens

It's just frustrating to know that all the other cars are equal in terms of upgrades and the BMW is penalised for no real reason

well ive done a 1:25:7 in the BMW, meh, dont pick the car if ya gonna moan about it, pick a different car and dont come 2 us with all this Bollocks that the car needs a Bump in PI or what not or the others needs nerved its the first TCC Season in FM6 stuff will get better and more Closer better racing, stop bitching and wait

How about you pick a car that has been made slow compared to the other cars. Then see where you are at the end of the race. Or even better race with equal cars. So we all have a chance to win!

i have done that before, and have proven the car had a bit of pace, just because you cant battle at the top of the pile, Dam i remember when i firsted joined TORA, i was qualifying B Lobby and i was in a decently Fast Car, but people are faster then YOU just suck it up and race.

Well considering I won formula E with with a 42 second gap. WITH EQUAL CARS!!!!!!

The thing is we picked the car before the BOP was messed around with so that's not a fair argument when we thought all cars would be equal

Just going to chime in, I was helping Forbidden out and we chose the BMW cuz we knew the lot would take the civie, mind you this is NATCC, but w.e. same builds.

I was at least 0.5s quicker in the civie at lime rock and 1s quicker at Road Atlanta vs the bmw. That's after spending more than I care to admit on the bmw tune and hardly any on the civie. I was also told that the bmw was going to be quicker at Road Atlanta, but I somehow doubt that.

Looking at other sites' builds, they all gave the other cars upgrades cuz the civie was already faster. Plus you look at the cars in reality, the WTCC cars are faster. So to give the civie full tire widths and the bmw and others hardly any is a tad perplexing.

That said, I haven't tuned or tested the others, so I can't say anything about their performances. Just speaking from my personal conclusions based on my testing.

Im chipping in iv not done so for awhile lol...the bmw isnt slow by anymeans look at natcc 2 bmws in the top ten and two bmw drivers are 1 an 2 in independent championship. . my question is why was the origonal build changed.??
