Afraid a single car class is outweighed by having more cars on track in each.
It is however not out of the realm of possibility for a certain series coming in 2016

Seeing the GT-Rs straight line advantage yet its fuel consumption may make for an interesting drive, will be more of a test for Samsung NISMO than an all-out attack, a toe in the water so to speak.

If I was them I'd just not look at Live timing and just pedel around and enjoy the race. Then look at it with 6hrs to go.

If you figure out how long a pitstop is, and how many more you have to make.. You can figure out how much faster you'll have to be per lap to make up for it. It may be less than you think

Question- For the year long championship, will teams need to stay in the same class all year or does it matter?

No each race starts over from scratch with new registration. Signing up with the same team name allows points to carry on, but you may change class as desired

Im sure teams who have done round 1 will get priority for the 40 cars on the grid?
Seems stupid not to, and be out of the hunt from then on, for instance missed initial sign ups because of work for example?
