TORAus StockHatch Series 1 - Video and Photos

Round Six of the Stock Hatches saw the drivers dropping in to Prague, a mighty fine venue which does have a sting in the tail. Now i will admit, i love the races around here, but in keeping a clean car is half the battle. Just the eleven drivers this week and after a disappointing qualifying effort from myself, the plan came into action for the race.

At the start of the race, i dropped straight to the back of the field, hung back by 500 feet, enough time to react to any incidents that always happen in Prague, it must be the fine beer that does the trick. Its a ploy thats had some success and taking it easy, running steady 1:12 laps compared with the leaders who were in the 1:09 bracket. The pitstops started coming thick and fast and it wasnt long before i was in fifth.

Things ran well up to Lap 28, second , third and fourth were in the pits for the umpteen time and i was coming through the chicane to find a spun JohnGalt117 Scirocco in the middle of the track and bang, i T-Boned him with no place to go. Thankfully it was only a short, but very slow run to the pits, damage repaired and coming out in seventh, which wasnt a bad result, but third was a possibility.

















Another enjoyable race around Prague, in whats been a fantastic series, still two rounds remaining although unfortunately for me next week at Hockenheimring will be my final round, lets hope we go out with a bang!!
