I predict many Z4 at Bathurst for the wrong reasons.

Can you give a reason why this is?
If you have tested this among other cars please share your times with us, if you hadn't noticed already these are provisional builds, not official builds
The idea of putting out provisional builds is that with a limited number of people doing the builds, they may not be able to get everything out of every car,
If you can make a car go faster than another and the difference is great enough to make them unbalanced please share and we can resolve this before the race
Re: TORA TEC Bathurst 12H - Car List & Builds
I think to be onist, its best to keep the GTR out, they produce so much grip than a normal car

Hi there, I've spent over 12 hours putting this list together with others for TJ, and I assure you the GTR is not the car to be worried about.
*Note: I am just leaving for work, and I will post some more details when I return.

Re: TORA TEC Bathurst 12H - Car List & Builds
I've updated the bop sheet with the most recent builds, I cleared the times out of there too (still showing below under old builds)
Can you please confirm what times you have in the current builds, either in the doc or post it here and I'll add it for you

Thanks TJ, can you please link the Doc in the OP so people can see it? Also, the GTR needs a handicap on the doc. I can also help add times to the doc for anyone else who submits their times.

Lateral G's:
Dodge Viper (No Handicap)
60mph = 1.47
120mph = 1.73
BMW Z4 (No Handicap)
60mph = 1.50
120mph = 1.68
Ferrari 458 (No Handicap)
60mph = 1.46
120mph = 1.68
Nissan GTR (No Handicap)
60mph = 1.49
120mph = 1.74
(5% Front / Rear Grip Handicap)
60mph = 1.42
120mph = 1.65
I know the grip handicap doesn't directly apply to the lateral G's a car can handle, but it gives you an idea of the level of grip it does have with it's handicap.
I am also in the process of setting new times in every car after all the practice I have had with the initial testing, and you will be able to see there that the GTR is also not the biggest concern when it comes to lap time.

Re: TORA TEC Bathurst 12H - Car List & Builds
Also, when testing the Ferrari before, 300 Front Tyre Width was a better option, but I left it at 305 for the submitted build as it didn't change the PI, and people could easy sneak in the upgrade. But on the #62 Risi Ferrari, the PI changes.
So can we update the Build to the #62 Ferrari with 300 Front Tyre Width please?

Race Driveline
300 Front
325 Rear
Pi 833
I also forgot to update the McLaren, and the build should have less tyre width.
2011 #59 Mclaren GT 12C GT3
Race Brakes
315 Front
330 Rear
Pi 832

Re: TORA TEC Bathurst 12H - Car List & Builds
sorry, thought I'd updated the Ferrari, updated both,
Can we make this final by the weekend?
Going to aim for opening registration Saturday, that way it gives people a week to register before quali opens

The Huracan could be added if you want. Race brakes and one rear tire width, 841 PI, 10% power.

Re: TORA TEC Bathurst 12H - Car List & Builds
I just finished clocking in fresh times. The Ferrari is still ahead for me, and the build should probably be adjusted to 315 Rear Tyre and a PI of 831. I clocked 124.391 with this build, which puts it right in place.
PS. I noticed as well that the Ferrari should be GTLM now, not GTE

When the group balancing the builds have finished finalising them and bought them closer 😊
So we don't have a repeat of LeMans with a BMW so far ahead it can stop for a midnight McDonalds

Re: TORA TEC Bathurst 12H - Car List & Builds
The Pit Crew has made these builds, but they're provisional because anyone can test them and suggest changes if they find an issue. If the builds are fine with everyone, they'll be finalized shortly.
Make sure to test the Huracan and add it if it fits.

I agree; however, there isn't a great deal we can do with all 4 buckets occupied. I tried changing it to 10% power and 5% grip on only one end, but the Aston nearly got a 2:00.9 like that. I think the cars in that bucket could afford tires if they have any to add, as they're in mid 2:02s whereas everything else save the Z4 can do a 2:01. I haven't tried the Ford, though.
