TORA TEC Bathurst 12H - Car List & Builds

Yeah we tested about 5-6 cars today and the GTR may as well be removed as is. Unfortunately, the logistical conundrum you're in is something I understand and it is what it is. I'll talk to Tyler about disclosing our notes for the day but we got it down to between two cars to choose. One of them is outright for pace but the other is a better 'race' car so it would be the logical choice. Unfortunately, it's a car we hoped it wouldn't be.

So wait, Nissan too slow or fast as is?

The Nissan does have the option to increase the rear tyre to 325 instead of the stock 310. This was the original build I had, but I eventually pulled it off as I got more comfortable with the car, and felt it may have been too fast. I'm not sure if it's simply a matter of needing to get used to it, or just an anomaly with me. I think it's fine as is, but given multiple people are now bringing it up as an issue, I'd bet on their collective judgement over mine. It can also have 310 on the front rather than the stock 300. Ultimately I want every car to have a chance and being successful, and be a legitimate consideration for teams to use.

Ps. I'll be using it either way as there is a special livery I want to do.

If the GTR is too slow, just add the tyre widths to it and that should sort it out

Our testing info was passed along. Hopefully it provides some useful tid bits.

So that there is transparency, recommendations are as follows:

Add 1 Fr and Rr width to GTR
Remove all tire widths from 458

Other than that, I'd stamp the car list as is.

Not tested the 458 at bathurst, is it really that good at pi833?

Also i think 2 tyre upgrades is overkill on the GTR, we have already had competitive lap times out of it, comparing it to other cars.

Yeah the Ferrari is faster than everything else over a lap. We've confirmed what HCR and LMR have confirmed so it needs to be hit.

The GTR is there or there abouts but lacking. Other cars are lacking too like the Merc, etc. but they always do and nobody ever picks them. I personally would remove those types of cars.

The GTR is about a second off most cars, and the Ferrari is near the front with stock tire widths. Try one tire on the GTR, but if it's not enough, add another. I think the Aston, if it's still being included, could use one, too.

The GTR has a 2:01 in it with it's current build, i wouldn't add another 2 tyre width that's for sure. All our team has ran a 2.2 in it with very little running.

Hmm, maybe you did something we didn't. Maybe compile your thoughts on some cars and get it over to David (Harmonic) so we can start finalising the builds.

Oops double post. Stick the rear tire on it let's see what happens.

Zermatt and Amarth are right. I retuned the GT-R, ran it with Sam just now, and I got a 2:01.976 with a couple of mistakes. The current build is fine.

im gonna test the Fezza now

update - 2:02:5 in the Fezza more time in it but im not the fastest around haha

what do you have in some other cars Solar? Just to give an idea?

Lambo Huracan: 2:02:5

I think we are all hitting different times in small doses. We found the Vette to be faster than the Merc easily. Anyway, once we get it close enough I think that'll be good. It's difficult to train a race horse when you're working with a donkey (Forza).
