TBR to contest next Touring Car round

I, Nicky, will be entering in the next round of the TORA TCC in a Team TBR SEAT Leon. I have not raced in a TORA event since the 12 hours of Sebring, and have only competed in two events since re-recieving my xbox. I hope to do the rest of the TCC in my newly reformed team! I also hope to be doing the final rounds of the TLMS in GT4 for some fun

Day One of Testing Complete
For this round, I will be entrusting a Cupra 03 to get me round the track, This choice has been made because it feels much better than the Cupra 07, as the 03 has a whole seasons worth of data in its tune, however, I could still only manage a 1:16.7, which means atleast a seven tenths needs to be shaved off to be mildly competitive.. This is what I get when I dont race with TORA for a while!

Okay, this seems stupid, I always announce these things.. I will be racing in the next round, if I dont, the first person to slag me gets 500,000 credits, and im NOT lying..

Thoughts ahead of Suzuka....

so, with a few days till Stobart's return to Touring Car racing, I just want to say im really looking foward to it, would be nice to have a team mate though . Im happy with my pace, the Focus is great, and the racing should be great too, hoping for some high B lobby finnishes. An A Lobby start would be nice too though, but I expect that to be Plowed... Anyway, pics of car coming soon.

Second day of testing complete

Another night of testing gone well Battling with some good drivers, slowly developing the Ford Focus ST and having some great fun. Tuesday here we come. Should be some vigorous touring car style stuff going on, the team have been beating panels all night, getting ready for some afternoon running tomorow, before taking a break over the weekend.

If anyone wants that second seat (or third if you prefer) then PM or reply to this on the thread and I'll get you sorted with a paint, and tune if you like

Great run at Suzuka

The Stobart team made a succesful return to the TCC earlier tonight, with both TCC newcomer racelegend and Nicky making it into the B lobby in the race for the ''best of the rest''. Race 1 saw a controversial incedent between Aero and Ian on lap 3, which allowed Nicky to take control of the race, to get the lobby win, and 9th place overall. Racelegend had an eventful race too, finnishing 16th out of the 32 runners. Race 2 was pretty much the same, and race 3 saw racelegend get 15th, with Nicky in 10th.

RETURN OF THE MOO JEDI

The #11, mr. Consistency Nick Moore returns to the TCC with Stobart for the remainder of the 2009 championship.

TBR Almost does a carbon copy... almost

The TCC arrived at Road Atlanta on Tuesday for the latest rounds of the TCC. Nick, on his return got a deserved A lobby start, while nicky started second in B Lobby after messing up a lap in qualifying, which tured out to be the best thing that could have happened in qualifying!

Race 1, Nicky dominated, tearing away from Slider at turn 1, who made contact with the No Fear Racing Honda of General.

Race 2, much much closer with Duncan in his M&M SEAT right up Nicky's chuff, a safety car played its part on lap 1, but Nicky managed to pull a win together.

TBR ready for Sunset, nearly

So, official testing is complete, Nick in the teams resident Nissan Sentra has been showing massivley quick pace all week, right up there with the Red Line Racing machine of HeatPhalanx. Meanwhile Nicky in the Ford has been involved in a few smashes during testing, having some good battles with the Bamboo Engineering driver of Adam in his Chevrolet, however, it always seems to end badly for him when he gets into the top half of the feild..

''The Ford is constantly improving, but is still off the pace around Sunset, i'm expecting a low B lobby start or mabey even a C lobby start'' said the Glasweigian.

The Nissan Sentra of Nick will be unveiled in 2009 Stobart colours tomorow evening.

After 4 lobby wins out of 6 races since his return, Nicky had a pretty lackluster night, finnishing sixth in Race 1 after turn 1 shambles and saftey car controversy, then showing a promising second place in race 2, before finnishing at the back of the feild in race 3 after causing a four car pile up at the chicane. Not that good for our new semi-title sposnor Aon.
