Race&Qualifying procedures:
Qualifying -
Drivers will get 5laps to post a time (1 warm up, 3 flying laps) drivers will stop in designated turn for host to take note of qualifying results on the 5th and final lap. No one is to be permitted to finish the session without authorisation from host. As with all TORA Qualifying sessions, clean laps will take precedence over dirty ones, meaning if you're in Super Tuner class and you post a dirty time, you will be bumped behind ALL clean lap drivers, regardless of class. In the event of multiple lobbies, once qualifying is complete, drivers will be free to go about their business until times have been entered and grid positions confirmed.
Race procedure:
Race weekends will consist of two races.
Race 1 will be contested over 15 laps with and extra lap to set the grid, drivers will race from a standing start in designated grid slots, if none are available on selected track, the leader of the Super Tuner category shall select their preferred side and everyone shall stack up accordingly, leaving a minimum of 25Ft to the car in front.
Race 2 will be considered the 'feature' race of the weekend and will be an extra 5 laps on top of the original 16. For race 2 drivers will start via a rolling start in two lines (odd left, evens right, vice versa), in reverse grid order per class. During a rolling start the grid will be controlled by 1st place in each class until all cars are safely around the final turn, where control will be assumed by 1st overall, it is up to the leader to control the pace and start accordingly. The leader may or may not give a signal for the race to begin. The start of the race will be decided by the leader at their discretion, as long as it comes before the start/finish line and after all cars are through final turn.
Points system:
As some drivers may finish higher or lower than cars in separate classes the points system will stand as this
(Per race)
1. 200
2. 190
3. 180
4. 170
5. 160
6. 150
7. 140
8. 130
9. 120
10. 110
11. 100
12. 90
13. 80
14. 70
15. 60
Bonus points will be added for each pole sitter in class, 10points per class leader after Qualifying
There will be no bonus points for race 2 pole sitters, as there will be no Qualifying for said race.
DNFs & Lag-Outs during either race will see the affected drivers bumped to last place overall, multiple lag-outs will mean the most recent lag-out will assume last place and any previous will be bumped up 1 place, points for DNFs will still be accrued by said driver, but intentional DNFs (Rage Quits) may come with point deduction (half of accrued points for that race)
Calendar - (each event will have 2 rounds, 15 laps & 16 laps *includes formation lap*

Rounds 3&4 - Silverstone National
Rounds 5&6 - Indianapolis GP

Re: Toyo Tires Honda VTEC Challenge *GAUGING INTEREST*
I like the looks of this a lot, but I fear it will be probably run at UK times which would make it next to impossible for me.
Re: Toyo Tires Honda VTEC Challenge *GAUGING INTEREST*
I'd be down, but the time difference across the pond may hinder me as well. However, I'm usually off work by about 3:30 pm EST, so if you guys are planning on starting at 9:00 BST, I may be able to participate in most races.

*Edited due to error
Also, I was thinking of a 9PM BST start to accommodate participants outside the UK, it's loosely based around an IRL UK series hopefully with enough interest, it could at least become a TCR event
