I hit a 58 flat but I'm failing around one corner and the bus stop. I could easily nail 57s maybe high 56s. I'm only using front aero mikey

Did a 56.1 today in practice w/ no aero.

any hints for a challenger??

best ive gotten is a 2:02.023

Try less aero if you're struggling for top end speed, or more if struggling in the infield.

This track sees big swings with minor aero adjustments.

Daytona is a track where top speed takes priority over everything else (handling, braking, etc.). So you want to try to get as close to that 2901 lb weight limit and 449 hp power limit as you can with no aero. It makes the car a tiny bit harder to drive but you will make up for it on the long straights.

Keep in mind the track is shorter, so there is less time to lose in a lap. I managed a 17.8 after a 30 min session, so pole will probably be between a high 15 and a mid 16. I wouldn't be surprised if hundredths of a second mean the difference between a low spot in A lobby and a high spot in B lobby this week.

No way anyone is hitting a 15. Even a mid 16 is pushing it. Keep in mind that #1 in B class is a 1:16.4 and those cars are built better because they have aspiration and don't require cages or race tires.

1:12:007 at Virginia south

In testing I got into the 10's, but with tuning I'm not sure how far into the 10's I'll be looking to go. Tentatively, probably mid-10's but I could be wrong.

Which likely means the PROD guys will be mid-11s and beyond.

Ran low 1:13s at VIR with no changes from my Watkins Glen tune. I think I should be able to run mid to low 1:12s with some adjustments.

Pole will be like a 1:10.0, maybe a high 1:09. I don't have much time to practice this week, though.

just ran 1:11:668 even I'm thinking I may be able to snag a high 10 hopefully. just need to get through the infield area faster

PB is a 1:10.9 but I keep hitting low 1:11s. Hopefully enough for A lobby this week.

Good Race Lobby A

Pretty good race in A-lobby even with all the thrills and spills.

I made a couple costly mistakes but was just happy to make A Lobby.

1:24.5 in the 88 Monte Carlo on Sonoma. Could of been a 24.3 if it weren't for scraping the wall on the front straight.
