Re: American Sports Car Championship - Lap Times
I remember NVirus doing a mid 2:02 in the McLaren last year, and I think I had a 2:02.7 in the Z4, so low 2:02s or maybe high 2:01s (depending on the car) sound about right.

Re: American Sports Car Championship - Lap Times
Should be anywhere from low 49s to mid 48s on average depending on the car. The Rebellion could do a 47.9 on a killer lap with a good tune though.

Anyone any ideas on COTA? I did a few laps and hit a 2:07.2.

That's probably good. I don't know what anyone's doing at the moment.

Re: American Sports Car Championship - Lap Times
Out of curiosity, would the organizers potentially revisit BoP on the C7R? Kind of disappointed in it's performance both in race and after jumping into the competition and running back to back. It clearly is at a disadvantage

It's not as far off as you says, but, I'll be taking a look at it over the weekend as you're not the first to mention the Vette being off pace.

I appreciate it. Currently I am barely nipping into the high 2:05's on a burner with the vette, and threw a quick tune together on the lambo and am cracking mid to low 2:04's with the potential of 2:03's. Considering entering a new Italian backed team into the mix

Re: American Sports Car Championship - Lap Times
Things like this really need to be avoided when the series has already started and people have picked their cars for the long haul. The Vette is fine, one of the most complete cars for the series, not to mention it will run 2.02s at Sebring which is arguably one of its weaker tracks.

I can understand your viewpoint. Out of curiosity, which tracks do you see as it's strong suit?

Thanks for checking into it. I need to improve my driving/tuning!

Re: American Sports Car Championship - Lap Times
ha, no it's just that the Vette requires a bit of finesse and tuning to go fast. Should be running w/o TCS to make this car go its fastest imo. I gained quite a bit of time turning it off.
I think the Lambo needs a look over for Sebring, and I think the Prototype cars may need a bit of additional BoP going forward. I'll be testing this in the next couple days.

Re: American Sports Car Championship - Lap Times
The BMW is not one of the quickest cars around Sebring that's for sure, It was scraping 2s last year in a better build.
