Re: American Sports Car Championship - Lap Times
I got a 2.03.8 in the Daytona tune. not sure how much I can get with a setup for the track. if I can get that low 2.02's should be spot on for he faster people maybe even high 2.01's

Looks like the riley will do a 48.6 on a perfect lap. So better to have left it alone

Re: American Sports Car Championship - Lap Times
So, I think that the pole position will be on the 8s or maybe 7s higher?

Re: American Sports Car Championship - Lap Times
After a few laps I'm at a 2:08,1 but still much to improve.
Re: American Sports Car Championship - Lap Times
So, you estimate 7s-mid for pole position?

Re: American Sports Car Championship - Lap Times
I don't know.. I've never driven a GT car properly around Cota so I got no reference..
Re: American Sports Car Championship - Lap Times
2:06 should be pole at COTA. Z4 doesn't have it in it though, maybe a low 7 at best.

Re: American Sports Car Championship - Lap Times
I did a 2:07.2 in the Ford with about 10 laps running and the Long Beach so i expect alot to hit a 6. Maybe a mid 6 for pole.

Re: American Sports Car Championship - Lap Times
Any other times for Prototypes at COTA?
I ran a 1:56:2 and there's probably a high 55 that's possible. Just want to see if I need to do more tuning since the car feels pretty good but I'm nowhere near fast enough to do a 53.

Re: American Sports Car Championship - Lap Times
Someone messaged me and said that the Ford GT was too slow w/ 10%, so I took it out of the garage and did about 8 laps. I hit a 2:07.3 with splits for a 2:07.0xx. I'm not the quickest in GT cars, nor was my tune great considering the curbs. The Ford will do just fine around here.

Yes me and Zermatt tested the Ford GT before the season started and we was running 2.06s in it at COTA. If anything the Ford GT is border line too fast at 10%, and although did pretty good laps with the 15% handicap at the first 4 rounds, it got destroyed on straights by everything, so tracks like Daytona and sebring was a pain for it. It has an easier life after COTA, so i definitely get why it has a 15% handicap for the rest of the series.

Re: American Sports Car Championship - Lap Times
Just confirming after the Ford GT race on COTA. The handicap will be 15%? If so, I thought tora admins wasn't going to touch the setups on the cars because the setups was going to even out through out the season. I'm confused.

If you actually read the build thread, you would've known this from day 1. The builds were there the whole time. The Ford changes between 10% and 15% power restriction depending on the track.

"If you actually read the build thread" WTF do you mean by that mate. I did read the build. Ford GT show 15% for alternate build I get that. I assume that the alternate build meant for the chooser to choose the alternate build if they chooser wasn't comfortable with the 10%. I sorry i'm not in on every conversations to know that! I just ask a question, wasn't expecting a [Censored] response.
