Yep we can now, woohoo

We will be setting the grid like that for sure but it remains to be seen if we still do a parade lap or not. All to do with tyre warming and such.

Tyre warming and also whether we can have manual grid set up with multiple player buckets in place though mainly that concerns the sports cars more than TCC

Hehehe oh yes! Just on another note in regards to the manual grid setup I've encountered a problem on another forum where when the lobby host has the manual grid on it causes issues with the lobby and on some occasions other drivers can't be seen eg I was in a 24 car race but could not see 13 of these cars which caused issues to say the least!

If someone has lobby 4 race 3 replay saved can they let me know as mine failed thanks.

Grate racing lads! However what you think about skipping parade lap? Incoming tracks are rather short, we won't be able to heat them anyway and we risk messed up start from timer countdown.

nah fwd cars need tires warmed up... either by holding e brake n sliding them or swerving like crazy will warm them up. its what real tc doing in real life as well.

We tested the no parade lap on the third race and Paddock Hill was, frankly, scary
Mind you, that might have had something to do with going in four abreast as well

I'm happy that the manual grid process worked well for TCC so that will continue through the season. It was also very good to run the whole night within 2hrs which is excellent

Well done to everyone at tora a great night of racing and no massive delays props to the staff involved

A standings thread has been made. Mind you there are a few things to tidy up with an errant formula on the drop scores and formatting for the team standings past 11th place, but, the results are in fact there.

Flying Mikey J had some issues with the live timing doc to get everyone sorted into qualifying lobbies but I think it went quite well for the lobbies a lot of new drivers this season which was a good turn out hopefully I fine tune my Beemer for next event so I can get out of the bottom lobby lol

Yeah, but still had it sorted before it was time to qualify. When an event with this many entries happen within 2 hours from start to finish, it's been a good evening from the race control side of things.

Great stuff Mikey it ran very smoothly in qualifying I didn't even realise you had any issues you ran it that well matey

I agree Erebus, not down to your hosting or fault though.

From what I could hear others saying cars bouncing, not being visible on track?! Weak network connection all race for most, couple restarts.

Not my greatest return memory of TORA, but it can only get better from here. Enjoyed the racing I could do

Cars not being visible... uh oh.

When in the lobby before hitting the track, it is imperative that all racers see everyone else's "Ready" check marks. If you cannot see their check mark, then you will not see their race car. If you cannot see someone's, then the solution is back out and rejoin the lobby. This "usually" corrects the issue of an invisible car.

Just to add to what Mikey has said if another driver shows as choosing car but they have stated they have chosen their car then they may show as invisible also

Is someone gonna clear out the live timing screen so we can sign in for round 2?

If you have signed in already but aren't showing on Live Timing PLEASE resubmit your sign in asap!
