Well, it is here (for some) the rest get it Tuesday.

Thoughts and impressions? Post them here.

My first impressions:

Rain is better now. "Might" actually be able to use the option on race days.

It seems some cars are now grippier than they were on 6. Not a better or worse sort of thing, as it means we may not always have to add race tires on most everything, and it opens up the possibilities of higher HP and/or "no TCS" for some series.

And... I am actually enjoying Single Player Career mode for the first time in quite a few Forza titles. Hoping the online experience is as fun.

I'm liking it so far. The car handling is much improved over 6 I think. And I agree that you can actually race in the rain now. 6 claimed the cars were on rain tires but they all drove like they were still on slicks. Now you can actually still push the car. One thing I'm disappointed at is right now there is no separate test drive section. You have to go into free play to test drive and right now you can't select the track you want. Bit of a pain. The AI so far seems to be a lot better also. They still want to stick to their lines, but they will yield if you get far enough up on them. They also seem to be more consistent so you can better predict what they will do and plan your passes accordingly.

I did Corvette C7.R showcase yesterday at Spa and boys car sticks to the ground like mad. I have spent whole season of ASCC in Vette and that was not even close.
I enjoy single player as well. I plan to do all stuff there. Rain is nice and I do not feel like I drive on ice.
I am slightly disappointed with a car list. Especially modern GT but I hope upcoming dlcs or firzathones will give us new stuff.

hoping the painting glitch in the early UE release is fixed. started re-aligning my NASCAR replicas on the Stock Cars, but the glitch isn't letting me get them lined up exact.

I'm sure the early glitches will be addressed Darth. T10 is usually pretty good about those things. I believe there is already an update planned for right after the general release.

God i hope so multiplayer sucks when trying to run a party as soon as you enter multiplayer it kicks you to game chat and you have to then switch in party options to game cgat then back to party

That is annoying, but if game chat is fixed won't be as much of an issue.

I figured it out.  We gonna have IMSA or WEC expansion.  There is not even RSR or Ford GT in the game.

Ford GT is in the game. Still missing a few GTLM cars as well as... nearly all the modern GT3 cars

Went into multiplayer mode earlier to set up a Private match to see what we had in there.....but can't even get in Private Match unless there are 2 or more people in the pre-race  lobby???? What ####### at Turn 10 thought this was a good idea?

We'll see how much of a pain that is tomorrow I guess.

from what I've been reading over at FM.net multiplayer isn't really working. haven't tried it myself yet, didn't even play today.

Multiplayer is kinda joke right now. I believe we gonna have Acura NSX GTD in the future available as we already have road version. Ford GT is indeed but Flying Lizard RSR no. There is silver Porsche on the cover.  I would be surprised if we would not get 2017 RSR at least same way as we got Ford GTLM. I am worried about 488 GTLM as we had road car in FM6 in dlc and now it is in base game. I want to believe like Fox that we gonna get at least IMSA dlc with all those Caddies and GTD stuff. New M8 will probably appear as well.  Fingers crossed.

Not even buying it. There's no way I am grinding through owning hundreds of pretend cars just to be able to select the tiny number I'd need to enter leagues.

I feel you on that, that system is stupid. I haven't got the full game yet, is it as easy to get an ungodly amount of money like it was in 6 though? If so, it might not be too big of a deal.

Yeah chief, I haven't really played all that much and I already have almost two mil. You can get good money using the mod cards.

err, no it's not all that quick to get money. VIP peeps just got a million credits sent to them and a few cars... There are ways to grind out credits but it's not like FM6 where credits were easy to come by. Once they implement the 2x credit bonus for VI's for every race it'll be a little easier, but yeah the grind is real until you have a few select cars you want, then you have to save up.

For this reason, early F7 series will feature easy to buy, and at low cost, cars.

I had that two mil before I got the VIP bonus this morning.

I tried getting as many cars as I could. The rewards helped a bit but for someone that likes to run a large set of cars to test, race cars get very expensive, very quickly.

It's quite clear that Turn10/Microsoft doesn't give a [Censored] about league racing/racers like TORA or they wouldn't have taken away / made harder the things league racing requires. Is Forza still the best option for TORA to hold it's competitions on?
