Forza 3 VIP Gift Battle discussion

Hi, as some of you may be aware FM.net are hosting gift car battles, with the winner being gifted to all VIP members (thats everyone btw )

The previous battles were;

1- Ferrari 330 P4 vs. Ford GT40.

Winner - Ferrari 330 P4

2- Lamborghini Diablo GTR vs. Pagani Zonda

Winner - Pagani Zonda

The current battle is between the Ferrari #62 430 and the Porsche #45 911 GT3 RSR.

This thread is for discussion about all of the battles, which car you would have wanted to win in previous rounds, and which car you want to win from the current round. I'm slightly disappointed by T10's choice this week, they've got the battle set between 2 cars that are already gifted out and certain level milestones.
IMO they should give us unique cars, that we would have to buy with our own money. On the FM.net page they have also revealed that there will be a set sellback price for the gifted car, meaning that we may not be able to sell the car for very much (I'm guessing around the 50 -100k mark) I appreciate them doing this and giving us cars for no real reason, but to give us a double of something and then tell us we can't sell it for what we want is a tad unfair i think.

How long has this been going, I hadn't received any before I left 2 weeks ago

it's been going on about 3 weeks i think, new round every week, not sure how many they will be doing though :S

The latest finished round was between the Dodge Viper and the Ferrari 360 Modena, with the Modena emerging the voctor.


The current poll is between the #46 Dream Cube's ADVAN Z and the #25 Eclipse ADVAN Supra, the Z is currently leading (I voted for the Supra because I dislike the 350Z road car)

This battle is to decide which of those cars will be painted in a Perfect Dark livery and gifted to us to promote the HD remake of PD on XBLA.

well, either way. im getting a free R-class car. yay. the ZuneHD R14 i had gifted, the paint got ripped off within minutes of recieving it. lmao

I've kept all of my free "VIP" car gifts, from the Zune Audi up to the lastest one, I think is the BMW. I sold all of the expensive ones, like the Bugatti because I personally found it ugly as s*** and will never have a use for it or that Pagani.

Like you Avenger I have kept all of thecars T10 has gifted me apart from the latest VIP Battle ones like the Zonda. I will never have a use for it so it was free money in my eyes
