Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
So a few questions.
1) Are we doing Forza clean for racing line, or WEC line?
2) What happens if someone signs up for a stint but can't make it due to personal issues? Are we able to have a driver replace them? I remember that happening for the team I drove for in the 12 hour of Sebring race.

It will be 'FORZA' clean i would imagine and as for the stints, you can swap stints if something comes up but only someone who is signed up within the team can sub in, so team of 5 drivers and one backs out only the other 4 can cover. Hope that makes sense and this is normally what happens but someone from TORA will confirm this hopefully.

1) Maybe. Depends on the update that's coming Tuesday.
2) You are absolutely allowed to swap drivers from within the team if issues arise. E.g. if driver A is scheduled for stint 3, and suddenly is ill, you can swap in driver B, C, D, or E.

Yes but you can’t double stint between 6/7 😂

No. See rules about not double stinting 5-6 and 11-12, and the 3 driver minimum.

When will we know what weather the stints will be?
Or is it just dry day and night.

before QUalifying, i feel this should be done a week in advance considering how long the track is and the nature of "Forza Clean" people could of been putting hours upon hours on Forza Clean just for u to say NOPE you gotta do it this way, do you understand how frustrating that could be for people. before qualifying would invoke alot of Negative feedback i feel.

Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
There are a couple of places where you can keep it inside the track limits but it will flag as dirty (most notably the right hander in the esses before Tertre Rouge) but as clean laps take priority over dirty laps then as long as you keep it 'Forza clean' there, then the issue is moot.
There are places you can go 4 wheels off and keep it 'Forza clean' such as through the Ford Chicanes and the entrance to Indianapolis. Since the rules and regs say you must keep 2 wheels inside the track limits then this should be regarded as cutting the track despite being 'Forza clean'.
If you try and keep 2 wheels inside the white lines denoting the track limits and keep it Forza clean there should be no issue. Start practising that now and you'll be fine for both qualifying and the race.
That said; it's an endurance race, not a sprint race and is measured on distance covered, not how far up the LBs you can get a clean lap. You could qualify last and still travel further in a stint than someone who qualifies at the top but loses time battling for position.
The rules are already crystal clear IMO. Lets be sensible about it and police ourselves rather than looking for every scrap of a second we can get in a qualifying session that is largely irrelevant other than bragging rights over who has thebiggest di.., sorry, fastest lap. The race will be about consistency, connection stability and not making mistakes rather than pushing for every tenth of a second in every corner on every lap.
P.s. Tell me to do one if that sounds like far too much common sense for anyone.

Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
What are the exact rules on double stinting? I know you can't double stint 6/7 and 11/12. But are you only allowed to do a double stint, or also a triple stint etc. As long as 6/7 and 11/12 aren't double stinted?

i thought it was 5/6 and 11/12 but I'd have to double check I cant remember tbh. But other than that the only other requirement is that you must use at least 3 drivers. To answer you're question, yes, you can triple stint,(quadruple stint if you really wanted to test how long you can go without peeing) numerous people done a triple stint last year, including one of my teammates.

Yeah, it are 5/6.
But good to know you can triple stint. Always useful in case of "emergency" with last minute dropouts. Thanks!

That's fine. The reason that we don't allow double stinting between those 4 stints is just so we stay on time over the 24 hours. Also, a correction is that it is stint 6&7 that you are not allowed to double stint.

One question Guys. At the stint registration I must write the license number of the driver or his Nick/Gamertag?
I'm little bit confused right now.

Thank you for bringing this up, I've just noticed that it's using our old system of driver numbers I believe, which we don't need anymore. I'll check with our staff team to ensure this is fixed.
