NAFFCAR General Discussion

Per tradition, we celebrate American Independence Day with a one-off Fun-duro. This special occasion will see the pristine countryside known as Lime Rock Park sullied with an assortment of crappy cars for a four 60 lap stint 240 lap "race".

Any questions, observations, or celebratory joy should be posted in this thread.

You didn't ask me about this but I have some thoughts.

Cars.
1968 Subaru 360
1951 Holden Ute
1945 Jeep Willies Jeep ( literally races in Lemons)
1983 GMC Vandura ( van racing is legit )
1958 Plymouth Fury
1949 Mercury Coupe ( im guessing there is a year cut off at this point )
1971 Lotus Elan

Of those, I would only add in the Subaru. But really, with 110 cars to choose from I am not seeing the point of adding anything else to the mix.

The only car I didn't see on the list that may have a place is the Jaguar Mark II. It's not "cheap" if it's been properly maintained but, there are a lot of beaters, it kinda reminds one of a London taxi and fits that "sh*t rust-bucket British car from the 60s" bill

Le Mon is how you pronounce it but im sure its supposed to have a silent "A" and a silent "S" lol

That is a play on words due to the race being done by lemons (cars that are a bit crap)

I wanna point out it's not necessary at all but if you can fit extra lights and other things on your car. Please do it as it looks so good in the style of LeMons.

I usually hate car-caps, BUT if that is the only way we get one of each on track, so be it. Makes for better streams this way

After seeing the laptimes thread the overweights will struggle against the underpowered.
