Welcome to NAFFCAR

After a successful one-off 240 lap Fun-duro on the 4th of July, in which there were calls to make a series out of it, at long last, NAFCCAR has become a weekly series.

The dual classes remain intact, Overweight and Underpowered, but the race format has been adjusted to fit the time constraints of weeknight racing. Thus, the NAFFCAR Sprint Cup has been born.

The focus is still "Have the most fun one can possibly have while eRacing affordable cars", and there's some quirky rules to maximize the on-track variety. Obviously, the "One-per year make and model" rule quite literally accomplishes that goal, as the rules actually state there cannot be two of anything on track in this series.

As usual, there will be three Championships up for grabs. What's unusual is there's not Team or Privateer points, the three are

Overweight - the class with a 2700 pounds minimum weight
Underpowered - the class with 200 HP maximum power
Drivers - based on overall finishing position regardless of class

Last time I raced I ended up in a lobby with someone who was drunk, driving backwards, parking in corner apexes, and overall crashing me and other drivers. Is there a way to opt into another lobby If that happens again.

That was the 4th of July holiday funduro. While still an emphasis on fun racing, that sort of shenanigans will not be tolerated as it can interfere with the fun of others.

can any car be built for either class?

Yeah I think some of the cars can fit in both classes, but I think you have to pick just one.

Some can even be built to fit both classes at the same time. Just pick a class at that point.

One warning about using forza start, is that be aware of the black screen load in where someone doesnt get the countdown. Will cause chaos.

^ That will cause a Restart. If it creates more issues, then it will be amended.

Not sure its Fixed could not see till signed in.

What If I build a car that can run in both Under and Over. Do I have to only run one way or can I run in both?

Not speaking on Mikey's behalf, but I believe the idea is, if you pick a car that's eligible for either class (depending on how you build it), you have to pick one and stick with that class throughout the series.

As an example, the Dodge Omni can be built in both the Underpowered and Overweight categories. If I were to sign up with it, I'd be forced to choose one class or the other. Builds can change per week but they'd have to remain in said class.

You'll be registered to race in one class or the other, as there is Overweight and Underpowered class points.

Diablo you better not be running that Omni. I'm Running a Mitsubishi Colt paint for that car.

What time is the Registration going live? I'm getting tired of refreshing the page every hour.

If you choose the Naffcar series you would like to compete i.e. EU or US and go to the registration thread it tells you there when registration opens.

two classes, so i can build for example 2760 pounds car with 600HP max C class and i will start in overweight class?

As long as the car weighs more than 2700 lbs, it can have as much power as you want it to have.

If the cars weighs 2699 pounds or less, it can have no more than 200 HP. Not sure what car would have 600 HP in C class but remember we aren't drag racing, you will have to turn left and right
