2018 V8SC Welcome & General Discussion

That's right! It's back! Welcome to the very last series of 2018 here at TORA and what better way to end a brilliant year than to bring back an old classic that's been asked for since it last ended? V8 Supercars always promotes fantastically close racing due to the almost spec nature of the cars along with the grip and speeds they bring to the table too.
We've got all 3 2017 Supercars from Forza 7 in the car list to keep it up to date and as close as possible so pick your favourite and get painting!
The calendar has also been selected to try and get as close to some of the tracks the real V8's use so that our sprint series emulates that of a real one.
I hope you guys are ready to go out with a bang; with dual time zone championships, everyone can come and have fun for one last time in 2018. Tell your friends, the more the merrier. Let the hype train flow...

What's the ruling on the use of the new collision assist?
I haven't actually done much real racing since it was added, so I don't really know how much of an effect it has, but regardless, I was wondering whether it will be, or can be, used in this series.

Collision assist will be forced off in all TORA races within the foreseeable future.
It only causes laggy bumps and taps and makes close racing harder to handle.

On the whole from what I'm hearing, everyone enjoyed the race lengths in Round 2 and we did indeed finish much earlier than Round 1. Many thanks for everyone's continued support towards this series, see you guys at Round 3!

Great way to end the year everyone! I'm proud to call the 2018 V8SC Championship my first full TORA series completed. Really enjoyed the professionalism and hard racing that was brought to every race this season. I'm looking forward to joining more series in the future and racing with everyone again!
