Re: DIRT 2
Hey, I have some old freinds from the ol' days of UKOG a year and a half ago, and we have a forum just as old as this! We need to keep it going
I will make the odd appearance however.

Re: DIRT 2
Anybody got some sensible reviews for me?
Seriously considering a trade in for it soooo advice would be usful.

Re: DIRT 2
Its very enjoyable but its just like all codies games these days, its still arcadey. Much improved over Grid and a big improvement over the first Dirt. This game has the best presentation I have ever seen in any game. The menues, the way you go into races its just so slick. Try the demo before you buy it mind, the actual rally stages are really good.
Re: DIRT 2
Richy whats the structure of the single player like? Is it similar to last year in that you could enter three different rally championships without going through that career pyramid?

Re: DIRT 2
Its like the pyramid but...not a pyramid...if that makes sense. You have a map of the world and there are about 10 locations or something. At each location you unlock more events as you progress. There are 3 stages to it, Rookie, Amateur and Pro (I think) and these, obviously, increase in difficulty/race length. You level up like Forza 2 and when you reach certain levels you unlock more races/different difficulties/challenges and things like that. But you can also unlock the X-Games at 3 set levels. And then when you get higher there are World Rally stages. Basically they are like the ones in Dirt 1 but a bit shorter. About 3-4 locations then I think there is one big one at the end.

Re: DIRT 2
Good idea, was playin the night online with one of my mates and WWR Aero and it was a good laugh. And I just won X-Games America
Re: DIRT 2
Me and my mate were playing this most of the night. We ned to get some guys together to do some proper racing cause the randoms online cannot race to save themselves. It is one of the worst games I have played for people hitting you for no reason. And it murders your feedback
I'd be happy to help get the ball rolling on this one.

Re: DIRT 2
this section has been dead for awhile... who's actually playing this? Ive been very persistent about my lap times lately for rally- All of my Croatia rally stage times are <300, in the 280's usually- 3:09.62 is my time for the full track, Mali Alan Pass, idk what position that is on the leaderboards
but I'm still stunned at my Morocco Tamdaght time, I'm at pos. 164 and I was thrilled about that.. lol
but today was a Croatia day, I was online for like 2hrs doing rallies

Re: DIRT 2
I played this game every day up until FM3 came out
Now that CoD is nearly out I still don't think I'll be returning that soon, but its still one of my favourite games
