TORA 24 uren van Spa-Francorchamps - Driver Briefing and Track Limits
2022 TORA Endurance: 24 uren van Spa-Francorchamps
When you think of sports car and GT racing, some tracks naturally come to the forefront. Le Mans, Sebring, Daytona... and Spa! Since 1924, the Ardennes have come to life with the growl of engines, with some legendary names and marques taking overall glory. Jacky Ickx, Jochen Mass, David Brabham, Eric van de Poele, and Tom Walkinshaw are just a few of the drivers to have tasted glory at Spa, most recently won by the trio of Jules Gounon, Daniel Juncadella, and Raffaele Marcielle an an AMG GT3 Evo. This will be TORA's 2nd 24 Hours of Spa, the first since the 2019 edition, and we are going to have all 4 lobbies streamed. Welcome to the forests of Belgium, and welcome to a great weekend!
Race - This is a 24-hour Endurance race. Drivers will be competing in 12 stints of two hours each. However, drivers are reminded that the stint actually only lasts 1 hour and 40 minutes. Drivers are reminded that they are to use THE STINT THREAD to assign stints to each of their drivers. You can see the stint schedule on the stint thread. Drivers are expected to be familiar with the rules and regulations come race time, so please review them before June 12th. Drivers are also reminded that they cannot have a driver double stint between stint 6 & 7 and stint 11 & 12.
Pit Stops - There are 3 required pit stops per stint. Remember that drivers will not be permitted to drive on the track backward to the pit entrance once they pass it. If they miss the pit entrance, drivers will have to drive around the track again to get back to the pit entrance. To be absolutely clear, if you drive backward at any point, you are subject to disqualification from the entire stint. It's not worth it, don't do it.
Stint Starting Procedures - Stint 1 will begin with a full warm-up lap behind the safety car, at 80 MPH, concluding with the safety car entering the pit lane, and the field proceeding 2x2 at 60 MPH for a standard start across the in-game start/finish line. All other lobbies are instructed to do the out lap in the same manner, just without the safety car (unless one is available, in which case it will be used). Reduce speed to 60 MPH at the final chicaine in all lobbies. Stint 2 through 12 will be a single file start at 80 MPH, starting as cars pass under the Spa-Francorchamps banner after the first turn as shown below. Remember that drivers are not to accelerate to race pace until THEY pass the designated start point, violations of which are subject to a distance penalty.
Track Limits - The track limits for this event will be FORZA CLEAN. There will be no exceptions to this statement.

Re: TORA 24 uren van Spa-Francorchamps - Driver Briefing and Track Limits
For the first stint, is that to start as cars would cross the F1 start/finish line that the game uses for lap timing or is that also starting at the start/finish line pictured above (the one typically used for endurance races IRL) after completing a single warm up lap?
It is not explicitly clear and asking to avoid any potential for confusion.
Also, small correction - it was Raffaele Marciello that was one of the recent winners

For stint 1, it's the Forza start/finish line. I will edit the post.
Poor Raffaele.

Guys apart from the last pit stop, is there a mandatory window to be respected for the first pit stops?thanks
You can't do it on the out lap., only under acing conditions.
