Race was terribly boring, as for lewis getting on the podium, in a way he deserved it. If he hadnt pushed the car up until vettel fell apart then he wouldnt of got a sniff on 3rd place.

Ill be honest and bahrain is one of the boringest races now, with the inclusion and a slow section which just goes on and on. I heard yesterday that the 2nd section is almost as long Brazil.

AJ wrote:Who makes BMW Sauber Ferrari Cosworth's gear boxes?

XTI Nightrider wrote:I know, i was gonna say, I think its a company called Xtrac, sounds sketchy to me

Actually we dont. They went to our old friends RECARO - AJ!!! so i think youl find thats why its 'sketchy'

As for the cars actually with Xtrac gearboxes (and by that i mean full systems) i have been into to work today and none of the failures for the Virgin and HRT cars were to do with us. The other xtrac 'supported' teams such as red bull, mclaren and Williams all did quite well i think Razz And didnt our other full system team, lotus, finisged if im right? now personally i would call that a success for a scratch team. Also we have had no suspension failures on the red bull, renault and other cars we support, so i think we have done well there too. Very Happy

Now ive defended who i work for from your incorrect and innacurate jokes i shall move on...

WELLL DONE LEWIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha so deserving of that.

As for eye-brow man, well he seems to have found his feet at ferrari, hopefully he cant keep it up Razz And then there Schumi. Laughing well done son.. i mean grandad??? lets be fair he did alright for a returneee but he showed none of his old 'flair' he looked edgey behind the wheel and obviously wasnt the car as Rosberg proved that. Would have thought to have seen rosberg further up the grid at the end but the race was crap tbh.

The FIA have made another set of rule changes to 'promote overtaking' and once again it hasnt worked. yes the curcuit wasnt the best and that didnt help, but the no refueling didnt have the effect i was expecting, now we have exceptionally slower cars that dont overtake more and have no chance of ever breaking a record again! except for least number of laps completed in a F1 GP. Razz

The new team... well Virgin was dissapointing, HRT as expected and Lotus a success but further back than hoped. I was most upset to not see virgin complete the race but i heard that the cars were actually withdrawn to 'save' them. As for HRT well what did we expect, the car arrived tuesday as nothing more than a mecano set, so to build it was some success. Razz

Ferrari, has everyone overlooked the engine usage....? it would seem soo, they may have won but with a hint of reliabilty issues there i think it may become costly by the seasons end. But of course the biggest dissapointments of the lot was Sauber.. i need say no more.. and the reigning champion, the car was proven to be quick and he clearly had setup issues, but with the ease that lewis drove with and the brains at mclaren i am supprised he couldnt find a good setup.

So now we look onto melbourne it two weeks time... another ferrari win? well i think we could see redbull make it stick this time, with temperatures expected in the mid-teens i think problems that plagued them this time wont be such an issue. Obviosuly as a Mclaren man id like to see them win, but i do think vettel has a good chance and id rather see him win than eye-brow-team-wrecker-spanish-man alonso. Further back im expecting to see Lotus improve a lot on this weekend, i think theyve learnt a lot about the car and it could really help them push forward, despite the 2/3 second (or several million pounds if you use the F1 time:money ratio). Virgin, hoping they can finish and as for HRT.. couldnt care less Razz im expecting no more than sundays performance. But what willl be for sure is that we will have much better racing at melbourne!
