There is a good chance that the 2009 Audi R8 LMS will be homologated early in the new year.

r u sure your thinking of an Audi. i just looked over the current list of homogilated cars, and there is no Audi. Wink Also, both R8's are AWD, and i have tried to convert both to RWD, to no avail. if the R8 LMS makes it in-game, that Would be a nice car to see on the track

Post by Richy59 Mon 4 Jan 2010 - 23:24

Sorry but I will not be putting my car to 777. There are absolutely no fundemental changes in speed, handling or general performance that you guys making me put daft chrome wheels on my car or massive rims will change. Its pathetic. 779 will be the lowest I am making my car and to do that I have taken the race brakes off...which makes the car safer under braking for fellow competitors. I don't know what kind of difference 775 will make to the panoz but even what we ran last night the results will be the same amongst all GT2 competitors because in these cars its all down to driver ability.

Regulation Clarification - Page 6 Empty Re: Regulation Clarification

Post by nickyf1 Mon 4 Jan 2010 - 23:31

Yeah, someone who was in the GT2 lobby should have been incharge of that rather than AJ. I have put my car down to 775 for now, but Richy is right, we were running close times, and its all down to driver ability. I must confess to running more than two wheels across the tarmac at the chicane a few times.

One conclusion I can come to here is that AJ needs to let the people involved with each class to make any needed rule changes from now on. It was okay pre-season, but now that the season has started this may be a good idea.

Post by Richy59 Mon 4 Jan 2010 - 23:37

I just don't see why I should put on a set of chromes so that I can have race brakes in the series when there will be no difference other that me constantly locking my brakes and crashing into people.

Stock brakes can't be adjusted therefore I can't alter my pressure for using the wheel. 780 should be the PI as that allows race brakes and standard wheels.
