Re: Regulation Clarification
Can anyone help me out with a set of unlocked logos for over the fenders? I have a really good set off of the storefront but they have about 500 layers which I expected but it had the NASCAR logo that we will be replacing and Goodyear, which I was going to change
Re: Regulation Clarification
unfortunately, i've only made a fandful myself. i can Gift you what i've made if you'd like Richy (going off the top of my head, i think ive only created a Prestone Anti-freeze logo, and a '76' racing fuel one) but the logo's on my car im running, i bought the logo's individually so i can place them wherever i wanted

Re: Regulation Clarification
If we're running all the little decals on the front fender, do we need to list ALL of them
Re: Regulation Clarification
Nightrider, I don't think it is a requirement but some drivers are going for the authentic look of Nascar. I could be wrong though.

Re: Regulation Clarification
I get it now. Good question. I don't know what the answer would be, but in my opinion they wouldn't be considered minor sponsors. The minor sponsors would be what is on the rear quarter and fuel deck lid. I could be totally wrong though. Lol.

Re: Regulation Clarification
yeah because on my team application i have to list all of my sponsors, and all of avengers and we each have a lot
Re: Regulation Clarification
Had a good read of the rules there, no major problems with them. Just want to highlight to everyone the ''No bump drafting in corners'' rule. A very important rule! And you guys know how much I bang on about oval racing etiquete!
Also, if we are going to the High Speed Oval, i'm guessing we dont need pits. In that case can we drop sunset reverse and go to either Benchmark C or Camino Viejo Mini for some short/flat oval racing??

Re: Regulation Clarification
Oh, and another thing. Can we use third party Oval style wheels for Oval races? Centre Line and American Racing, ones like those, just so we can paint our wheels.

Re: Regulation Clarification
Patrick: No just list the major ones. There's NO WAY I could fit all the NASCAR-y ones on there either!!
nicky: unclear as to what effect this would have PI wise but if the changes are minimal perhaps it will be allowed. Maybe stipulate a 'stock' rim that everyone should use?

Re: Regulation Clarification
Can't remember the exact name of the rim, I'll get that to you later once I can get on.
And also over fears that the cars will not be equal, may I suggest using the Dodge for oval races (It does have squinty Oval trim bodywork after all) and using the Chevy and Ford (Road Course bodywork) for Road Courses in the event that the cars are not equal?
I'm sorry If I annoy you guys with these kind of posts, I just cant help but have ideas all of the time

Re: Regulation Clarification
I say for Oval racing we should lock the tuning and upgrades off so that all of the cars are the same. Would make it mroe equal and closer. Then for road courses you can tune away to your heats content.

I agree with that 100% Richy because on the Oval's if people start taking aero off it makes it extremely difficult to bump and in the intrest of equality between the cars tuning and upgrades do need to be off especially as the Ovals.

Re: Regulation Clarification
but if everyone takes the aero off, everyone will be fine, just means it will be much faster.

Re: Regulation Clarification
i agree about the Oval races. Stock Tuning & upgrades. But when it comes to Road Courses, all that should be added/removed from the car(s) is the Restrictor Plate. brings more Realism to this Stock Car Cup Series. when T10 opened up the Stock Car hopper, i was frustrated to see everyone except myself run the cars the way they should be ran. No upgrades outside the 'plate'. if this is not the case, and add all the parts we want for the Road Courses, im OUT.

Re: Regulation Clarification
Sounds fair. At least then all of the cars will have the same power added ratehr than all the individual parts that can be fitted.
Re: Regulation Clarification
Thank You Richy. Someone's with me on this topic.
6.3.1d Modifications may be made to cars in 'road course' trim
should be...
6.3.1d 'Restrictor Plates' may be the only thing removed from the cars in 'road course' trim.
its just Turn10's fault for not giving us the ability to paint the Stock Wheels

Re: Regulation Clarification
well we had great racing on both types of race with stock tunes only tonight so i say Stock tuning throughout the whole Championship!
Re: Regulation Clarification
Actually, I kinda agree with Slider as well on that. We did Ovals as stock and it was great. Then we did Road America stock and it was brilliant BUt a wee bit extra power and a wee bit more downforce wouldn't hurt around the road courses.
Re: Regulation Clarification
the restrictor plate takes away/gives 50hp, so that should be enough of the extra umph your looking for Richy
