What you hate him cos you shouted abuse at him?? Man I'd hate to go to a NASCAR race

hate him cause he drives a toyota, he's not that good of a driver and last season NASCAR was all about promoting him as the "new up and coming driver-star" doing interviews with his parents and [Censored]...but now that's danicas spot, so i'm sure joey will fade away.

you'd love a nascar race.

got there at 7:30 am, was drinking by 7:35...was a good time.

At a nascar race, everyone goes to a parking lot, gets hammered, fights with dale jr fans, and occasionally a race breaks out. i go to dover every year and its crazy

the junior nation is the best group of fans you could ask for. better than saudi oil magnates thats for sure

idk tony stewart;s got some interesting fans, i noticed alot of them are large females

why like so called "race drivers" when all they can do and know how to do is turn left?

nevermind that montoya was crying like a little girl when he first started driving ovals.

and that marcos ambrose always finishes 25th on ovals (and still makes tons more money than he ever did in v8 supercar)

I appreciate Stock Car racing alot, im just not a big fan of corporate NASCAR events most of the time. I will watch the big races though. And the Road Races. GO AMBROSE!

And the Nationwide Series... Better looking cars, more road courses! WOOO!

Should totally keep this a Stock championship as the racing last night was really really good. And how big are the teams gonna be and can we do it like proper nascar and have different liveries on each car?

I agree richy it needs to be stock no tuning especially as at the ovals its difficult to bump draft with all the aero taken off taking away that aspect of Nascar and i think teams of 3 or 4 should go nicely with paints being allowed to be different.

4 in a team would be good

right, cause nascar teams are massive...hendrick motorsports runs 5-6 cars i believe.


- 4 cars to a team and each car has to have a different title sponsor with secondary sponsors.
- no numberplates
- stock tuning
- Ovals and power road circuits only.

every team should have an american on it as technical supervisor

oh and no restrictor plates unless it's on the massive ovals.

i'd say keep the restrictor plates on for all the events im sure with the restrictor plate off the cars would be unbearable on road courses

Restrictor plates OFF for ANY non-Sunset race, sorry to use captials, but you are all being ponces.

no restrictors make it harder to police the no tuning.

thats why i say complete stock setup and build. the only thing you change is paint

i don't mean to offend anyone here as i'm just brand new, but you guys are starting to sound just like the nascar officials, and are really starting to make me think that you have no idea as to what you want from a stock car series. i'd love to join a series, but honestly, if you can make up your minds, then stop worring about it. it's very simple to say let's start a series, but stock cars take A LOT of planning if you really want to pull one off. i hear nothing but good things about tora, and i've seen very good things about it. but after these 4 pages i've seen, stock cars are going to be the event that fails for tora

Yes you are new here, this is merely an ideas page. The TORA staff will then look at it and create a set of rules based around what the majority want.

This series is quite far away at the moment so things are still a bit up in the air and its still being discussed, but dont worry, this isnt the actual organising of the event, this is more of a brain storm.

IT'l be just as good as any other TORA event, dont worry, your just seeing a little publicised part of the planning process.

yeah sliders right the tora tascar season will be epic!
