2010 Real Race Plans

well, it's the offseason. and what do you do during the offseason?

you plan.

What races will you be attending?

here's mine

NASCAR:
- Charlotte
- Darlington
- Talladega (spring and fall?)
- Atlanta

ALMS:
- Petit Lemans

IRL:
- Barber Motorsports Park

2010:
-BTCC Knockhill
-Rally Scotland (If possible)

and I may be attending Petit in a few years time, as I possibly may be moving to Eastern Canada... Which also means year round racing with Circuit de Gilles Villeneuve and IRL at Toronto, if the IRL still exits by 2011/2012.

British Grand Prix if it happens
Belgian Grand Prix probably
BTCC Knockhill
British GT Knockhill
Time Attack UK and European Drift Championship Knockhill
Possibly IRC Rally Scotland
Stages of the Scottish and British Rally championships where possible

And whatever other surprises the missus might cook up for me!

Hoping to actually go to the BTCC this year. Might go to the GT again if there are more than 8 cars lol British Superbikes are good to watch aswell

Probably BTCC in either Silverstone or Brands, if not then the DTM at Brands. Would love to go to the British Grand Prix though, although I doubt the atmosphere would be quite as enjoyable as the Oz GP I went to

You do know the British GT won't be returning to Thruxton this year. Other then that, I am going to the BTCC at Thruxton.

I would recomend going to see the Euro Late Models, I'm sure they run at Ipswich. NASCAR style stuff.

...you gun fall asleep to the Pocono race like i do watching it on TV? lol. or is it better in person? i bet it is having 43 850hp cars wizzing by you.

if the Camping World Truck Series makes a return visit to Lime Rock Park, IM GOING! i didnt know they went until the weekend after that race.

The race itself is deffinatley more fun in person, but me and my friends always leave around lap 125 or so for food and to explore the track amenities which is pretty fun.
