F1 2010: The Game

Cheers guys I appreciate your help. Will have a go next time I get on the box.

After the DQF mishap last night, I will always be making my tyre selection for the pit stop manually several laps before making the stop in future. (You can select your tyre choice at any point during the race prior to pitting).

I use the D-Pad to steer my car, since I prefer it over the analog sticks.

I am quicker with a D-Pad, then the analog stick. Also I find the D-Pad survives longer, then an analog stick. And for one good reason, a mix of games use the waggle motion.

I use a wheel for any racing game because it makes me feel more immersed and allows me to have much more fun, even if it is slower initially (but you learn how to go fast with other methods).

And after almost two years of using a wheel, I can say I am proficiently skilled in using it.

While I would love a steering wheel and racing seat, I just don't have the space.

I noticed round spain last night a ghost car and thought i drive through it and got a warning for causing a collusion but didnt affect either of us

My race at Montreal on the hardest diffculty earlier, qualified 5th but had 2! 5 grid place penalties so i was 15th, i qualified on the harder tyre and ran long into the race, the race was on 20% and i pitted on lap 8 of 14 and made it upto 3rd place. Last lap going down the back straight to the final corner my rear left tyre gets a puncture and i lose 3rd and end up 4th talk about pain

I hate catalunya so much. I hate the pit holding glitch so much

yeah catalunya does suck and its not really a glitch its just holding you for a safe release but it does take the mick

Its not even a safe release, if there are any other cars on the pit road, they dont let you out until they have ALL passed

The Codemasters forum says if before the race you change your pit strategy by one lap either way then it stops the bug happening.

yep you can decide when you want to pit also you could try qualifying on the harder tyre and staying out longer than everyone then pitting when the pitlane's free then having a few laps on the option tyre.

I just pit on really odd laps
Sidenote: was heading for a decent result at catalunya (FINALLY!) when webber hits me and i get penalized on the last lap

catalynia is rubbish, i just signed for torro rosso next year woop get out this bloody lotus :L 2 more races till the end of my first season too, done every race on 50% aka i have way to much time on my hands and really need a girlfriend or a hobby !!! lol

Last night I done 10 practice laps round monaco and my front wing never stayed on long enough to get a hot lap in lol

monaco made me trip out and i wasnt even stoned or drunk!!!!

I wasn't sure about getting this game yet, but.....DONE! FINALLY! Just ordered it off Zavvi for £33.95

I just hope they sort the bugs soon otherwise I could be winning the TORA F1 title in an Hispania car! lol
Other than the bugs, how are you guys finding the game so far?

Louis, I agree with Monaco. It's been such a long time sonce my eyes have been on stalks quite that much!!
