This Sunday is Meeting 2, Rounds 3 & 4 at Catalunya starting at 20:00 GMT
Don’t forget to sign in on the main website for this event, if you fail to sign in before two of the start of the event you will miss Qualifying and start at the back of the grid.

At the last meeting we saw lfcnicklfc topping the tables, will he do the same this time? Let’s look at the top 3 finishes of the last event

1st – lfcnicklfc
2nd – WWR Chillz
3rd – PLOW NickFTM3

Now let’s look at the tables and see who’s where.

Drivers Championship
1st - lfcnicklfc - 94 Net Points
2nd - WWR Chillz - 86 Net Points
3rd - PLOW NickFTM3 - 84 Net Points

Teams Championship
1st - Compuware Aero Dynamics - 162 Points
2nd - Scuderia Ferrari MARTINI - 159 Points
3rd - Rizla M&M Racing - 156 Points

With the racing be so close anything could happen here. And with new PI limits how will that play in the field with 32 entries in the last race can we get a full grid this sunday

i think the porsches and vipers would have been strong here anyway
now with the pi increase i think they will be overly strong

Just been spending a while tuning the Vette. Complete re-tune from the ground up. Much more consistent now and I can keep the rear in check. Maybe I have a chance now. Knocked .7 off my previous tune's best.

A few more tweaks and now I am into the 1:45's with a clean 1:45.944.
I am getting happier about the Vette now. What a difference a better tune makes.

No way, the porka still needs to be 680 PI in my opinion. Just no guts and handles or some guts and slides off everywhere. I have no idea how I managed that 1:46.4xx clean and I now can't get any where near it!! ;O(

Magictap just ran a 1:46.0xx in the Porsche. We were testing together. Very even times between the two cars. Vette powers past down the straight, BUT the Porsche is on my bumper by the exit of turn 2! The Porsche is awesome on the brakes and through the twisty bits. I could not pass him because he was so good through the last 4 turns and I was too far back to reel him in down the straight, and he could not pass me, so qualifying is going to be very, very important, as whoever gets through lap 1 ahead, should win.
PS. The Porsche doesn't need more PI. It's an awesome car.

It still needs more PI. This track should be the Porsche's swan song ;O( If the Corvette can go quicker hot lapping and keep me behind during racing sims then what's going to happen at the faster tracks!! Bye Bye porka, its gonna be a dot in his rear view.

My best is a 1:46.421, i ran 1 more lap after that but it was dirty.... still it ended on a 45.9. With some more practice tomorrow i hope to make that clean.

Are you guys running fairly soft setups? Ave found a bit of vibration down the front straight and think it has to do with springs needing to be softer or softer damping... thoughts please!
