Great racing last night guys. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My first race was probably the best race I have ever done in terms of maintaining consistently fast lap times and hitting almost every apex for the full 18 laps. I needed to because the following 3 drivers all set faster lap times than me during the race. Really enjoyed it even though I didn't get to mix it with those 3 drivers as I got a nice 3 second cushion early on and drove as hard as I could for the remainder of the race.
Race 2 was a lot easier even though I started 8th on the grid. 3 drivers went off at turn 1, so I went up to 5th. Then Crisis Nine ran wide on turn 3 onto the grass, so I went up to 4th. Then the safety car came out, which really suits the Corvette, as I was able to pass both Porsche's before turn 1. I then look in my mirrors and see my team mate Aero up to 3rd. (Still don't know how he did that) Up to 2nd now without really doing much. Followed DrunkLouis for a couple of laps and then passed him down the home straight and then moved away at about a second a lap after that.
So, all in all, I was fortunate enough to get through the first 2 turns ahead in race 1 and then hotlap to the finish and race 2, I just watched people drive off the track and drove past the others down the straight with the help of the safety car and American Muscle.
So, a very clean, lucky 2 races for me. See you all at Mugello. Got a surprise in store for you all. Rolling Eyes

I would like to apologise and put my hand up to VVV Slim my teammate for this. I knew he was a faster driver, and if I found him behind him I let him through to attack the people in front. On this occasion I eased off on the restart without thinking, until it dawned on me that it was before the start finish straight and he couldn't overtake beforehand. He then had to ease off as well which allowed both Aero Dynamics cars to breeze through. I'm just grateful we didn't lose more places.
