i bought my PS3 at launch (well, my pre-order ended up as a 2nd shipment unit) for the thought of GT5, FFXIII, and the whole BluRay aspect! its worth the $600 all those years ago. i dont even use my 360 or pc for DVD viewing.

I have to say head tracking looks pretty good and might make the in car view useable for me.

Note in particular the TG Test Track. Believe me, having looked closely, those are definitely NOT real images, that's form the game.

troff, yeah I think that will make things alot easier for a great number of people. Aparently it's not new and PC users have had Track ir for a while, but it's good that we get to use it too.
The scope for Kinect is quite high outside of the actual driving aspects of the game. I'll be getting it purely instead of a Wii, because let's face it it'll almost certainly be less expensive.

not sure if people noticed, but there also seemed to be a day to night progression on GT5 too!!

guessing its only for 1 track though

The day/night feature is mean to be in the game proper. Whether it's just for one track or in there generally remains to be seen. Considering the VLM additions to the game, I'd be expecting it all the way through.

Yup, the cyber Stig is in the game! The shots from the TG Test Track look brill and damn near spot on to the real angles and style. Whether that's just for show remains to be seen of course.
Turing the lights on? Yeah that's probs just for show, but how hard can it be when they've already modelled active aero and the like?

What about the 3d!!! pre order collectors or else if you want it!!

Yeah but where is the a UK site that has it? Amazon, and Game sure don't

I will be buying the GT5 Collectors Edition like I do with every other game, but I think I will invest in a G27 as well. Then I can use it for Rfactor 2 and GTR3. And might just get the F1 game on the PS3 as I will be able to use a proper steering wheel for it
