I think the Super GT cars from GT5 will make a great championship. However we still have a good couple of months, before more cars are revealed.

Which does mean, we have plenty of time to come up with some championships.

Hope you guys are looking forward to lots of connection issues and lagouts. PSN is nowhere near a stable as XBL, and that's saying something.

given the fact that XBL has been around for YEARS longer than the PSN, its no wonder PSN is of lower quality or w.e. But if the PSN has the Sony brand backing them up, give them the same amount of time XBL has had, and i assure you, the PSN could run even better than XBL at the current level. remember, Sony is a hardware company, Microsoft is software. why do you think we can only get 8 players in a FM3 lobby? GT5 claims they can do 16 players per 'lounge'. as to if the online gaming can withstand 60 fps is yet to be seen though

I still have my doubts about a working, reliable 16-person room. Only 8 people sucks, but 16 player lobbies double the problems and issues experienced with online gaming. We thought lagging got bad with 8 people, imagine twice that! Shocked

I can't stand people who bad mouth other consoles and the services they provide when they have no first hand experience of how they work or in using them. I have had the PS3 since launch and played quite a lot with it online and I have never, ever had a single problem or lag or disconnection from it even in heavy intensive games like Uncharted or Killzone. The connection has been great. It lacks a bot of content liek Movies etc but that is changing.

I am always having mega lag issue, disconnections from the servers or simply not had the service working on the xbox. And I play £40 a year for it. All of my mates have Xbox's and we play things online. I play with TORA online. The amount of time we have had delays at the start of races due to simple little things like getting people into lobbies is just a joke sometimes. Overall in terms of contect it can't be beat but its overpriced. If everybody had PS3's and played on the PSN people would come out with the same things about XBL.

But Gran Turismo 5 looks amazing, I so can't wait Very Happy

I think only 12 people can race in a private lobby, while a public lobby is 16. Seeing how you would have the options of servers.

Then again they may allow 16 in a private lobby.

Actually, I used to work for a games company developing for PS3 so er, yeh, take your attitude somewhere else or know your facts before making accusations. PSN is a free service built on old tech which is weak and shoddy. XBL is fully funded by subscription, and constantly undergoing development and improvement.

Don't forget PSN uses servers, while most games on XBL uses the person's connection. However it is different for EA, because they use servers for games like Bad Company 2.

Along with that, on some games via PSN you can setup private games on server.

WRONG! it does allow 16 in a private lobby and whats even better is that people can come into the lobby and wach without booting anyone else from the race PLUS people who are watching the race can also talk to people that are racing... 16+ people party chat anyone?

Aero, all I am saying is that I, the user, who uses his PS3 everyday online has never had a problem with the system and have never had all the issues I have where I can't connect to people like how I have problems with XBL. You on multiple occasions have made it clear you dont have one so you can't talk about the system you don't use daily as the user. All I'm saying is I have to pay £40 a year for an excellent service that is flawed. With regards to it being updated at least once or twice a month the PS3 gets an update where as the xbox leaves updates to the general service for twice a year where they completely overhaul the system. Both ways have their advantages but I don't see the constant updates except for games every now and then. If I cared enough I wouldn't pay the money but I do cause I couldn't do without XBL.

Not being able to connect to Xbox Live, mainly comes down to how your router and the IP settings have been setup. However while I like XBL, I must admit XBL even has problems.

Even PSN can have it's moments, which means one thing:
