Just done some practicing and seems that this is gonna be good, just got to buy travis a rear view mirror for when he re joins the track lol
Re: V8C Meeting 1 Discussion Thread – Maple Valley (Full Circuit)
Going to be a very interesting race. Maple Valley is hard to overtake on because of the flow of the track. You pretty much have to stay on the racing line in order to stay on track.
Best lap I've managed is a 1:27.466.

I am looking forward to this race now, and if the projector is bought back to work tomorrow I will borrow that to race, I will have no reason for not seeing anyone then lol
Re: V8C Meeting 1 Discussion Thread – Maple Valley (Full Circuit)
quick question. do the privateers NEED to put the '0' infront of their number?

Re: V8C Meeting 1 Discussion Thread – Maple Valley (Full Circuit)
Seriously guys, don't mean to come off like I usually do... But on the night of the entry list I actually enquired as to why my team was not on the entry list. So I put in a new entry... All my team have been added, but we are all down as individual privateers..

Re: V8C Meeting 1 Discussion Thread – Maple Valley (Full Circuit)
Surely i dont have to put the '0' in front of mine, seeing as no one is using 44.

Re: V8C Meeting 1 Discussion Thread – Maple Valley (Full Circuit)
So that would make phenom #s 20, 21, and 22. Can I safely assume that my new team will be 23, and 24?

Re: V8C Meeting 1 Discussion Thread – Maple Valley (Full Circuit)
Also, the class of cars used for the TORA V8 Challenge and, in the real world, the Australian V8 Supercar Championship Series and Fujitsu Development Series is not ''Super V8'' as the SV8 suggests..... Sorry to be a pain, but if you guys want to be a realistic and knowledgable orginsation.. these things have to be done properly.
Same with the touring cars, how can they be Super 2000 class if many of the cars don't have a 2000cc capacity? (The Genesis has a 3.8 litre V6)

Re: V8C Meeting 1 Discussion Thread – Maple Valley (Full Circuit)
Anyway... discussion...
My Holden is definetally capable of a 1.25.9, came damn close the other day and ended up whacking the outside concrete wall at the end of the lap..

Re: V8C Meeting 1 Discussion Thread – Maple Valley (Full Circuit)
The idea of the zero in your numbers is to differentiate team cars from privateers.
Re: V8C Meeting 1 Discussion Thread – Maple Valley (Full Circuit)
And its to stop anyone from having the number 15 conflicting with a privateer who has the number 15.
