twit that mate ;O) As for that pic, yeah i know!! The three I've picked defo seem the most realistic looking of the ones I've seen so far, the majority don't stack up in comparison but do still look very nice if obviously from a game. Still can't wait ;O)

Out of the four Gt5 vs NS2U picture comparisons I only prefer the F40 GT5 one, the other three I prefer the NS2U pics ;O)

They haven't actually picked the best shots to compare at all.
There are much better newer images in the recent releases that makes those look crap. Page 2 is VERY good imo. They piced probably the worst dashboard shot that Shift released to compare too.

If you pre-order and they reduce the price afterwards, they charge you the reduced price. They only take your money when they dispatch the item.
I'm not sure about Game, but ShopTo will charge you the lower price if they reduce it after you order, OR the price you ordered at if they put it up!

Re: the comparisson pics. Shift 2 certainly is looking rather lovely! The one thing they seem to have absolutely nailed is the night lighting - something GT5 kinda sucks at. Instead of doing what GT5 has done, and put a certain level of "ambient" light in so you can still see the cars, they've gone the other way and made true light sources, so you only see what is lit, AND you also appear to have that effect where the dark areas appear even darker when you've got a light shining in your face.

I noticed Donington has a surprising lack of holes in the tarmac - not very authentic is it?!?!

Lets hope this game is as stunning as it looks in those really good pics.

Well Brands in a Porka RSR in the first SHIRF looks awesome if a little comical with all the fairground type of attractions.....but...the lighting, shadows, reflections, movement is all fantastic already. And trust me its the best sounding racing game on the Xbox360 by miles. Unfortunately I've not managed a reliable way to record sound using the iPhone 4 yet with out it sounding rubbish.

God I wish Turn 10 would take note and use more fixed-point TV-style replay cameras.
