2011 Spotter Guides

Notice to all potential competitors.

All series applications are provisionally accepted pending receipt of your car design so that it can be added to the Spotter Guide and Team Profile section of the website (under construction - nearing completion!). Please either send these to WWR Aero via in-game gift, or place them on your storefront for 0Cr so that I can pick it up from there. If you have used locked logo vinyls, please send or post a version with those removed, and send me a message or chat to me online to let me know what is missing and from where, and I will re-place those missing vinyls. If I have unlocked versions I will send them to you.

Number boxes, window banners and PLOW logos have all been sent. They should be self explanatory as I have labelled what goes where. Just load the vinyl in "Create Vinyl Logo" (I forget the exact name), ungroup the logos and save off the ones you need. If you don't have one and need it, please let me know. I will be online most nights if you need help to talk you through it.

Do you want one copy of the paint per driver? And Plow logo's?

It would make my life easier if I receive one per driver, but if there are no differences other than the car number, i can alter that myself and take the necessary pics.

Re: PLOW logos (these are included in the "Vinyls Pack" that I've sent to everyone who has registered so far - and will send to you later today troff), there is a logo for the sides (includes "red" for ease of identification, although I have also labelled it on the vinyl pack), and a lower layer count "black" one for the front bumper.

These are to acknowledge PLOW's generous sponsorship program for the 2011 season and are required to be on all cars.

Why are you not happy to run PLOW logos on your car but happy to run Radio Le Mans logos?

Why should we have another teams name on my car? I wouldn't be very happy at all to have PLOW splattered on my car. They didn't build or tuned my cars. I did. This has got nothing to do with our spats in the past, but I would be furious if we have to run with another teams logo on my car. Plus it's sending out the wrong message as well in the fact that people would think that you are being biased because they would think you are favouring PLOW instead of everyone else.

The reason why we love to have the Radio Le Mans logo's on our cars is because we are big fans of their show and they love their racing games as well! Plus don't forget, they are one of many partners with TORA now.

PLOW have provided a substantial prize package for the winners of each class. Essentialy this is a sponsorship deal as would be the case in any other real series.
The logo in question is not massive and will not affect your overall paint jobs. I have no problem carrying a small PLOW logo on the car in someway as part of the deal and I would urge all other teams to do likewise.
We are hardly asking you to adorn the entire side of your car with the PLOW logo are we.

.....and as are PLOW now. PLOW the team and PLOW the sponsor are different and anyone who would presume to think we will be favourig the team in any way are mistaken.

Sorry Matt! You may disagree with me and Yes they are providing cash as well.
But I'm not happy with the fact that we have to run another teams logo on my car! I'm not using it! And I'm sure there are some people who would agree with me on this as well!

because 'PLOW' is providing YOU with the chance to win substantial money in exchange for a SMALL insignificant logo placed wherever you want on the car.

Believe me in comparison to series title sponsors in real life you're getting a bloody good deal.

Nobody had a problem a few seasons ago when we ran AG Tuning logos on our cars. This is the same thing. In fact, the PLOW logos are much more subtle than those were. This is a major sponsorship thing for us so to show our appreciation we have accepted that we will be running PLOW logos on our car as they sponsor us.

Maybe a small 'Sponsored by' above the PLOW logo would make it look less like a PLOW team?

Agreed. PLOW exists outside of TORA, and it's in this capacity that they are sponsoring the 2011 series, not their race team. Please use the provided logo as an additional sponsor logo. It's a reasonable request, and, I think would be disrespectful to refuse seeing as they have no obligation to be providing the huge prize fund that they are.

Dan, this isn't a situation where you have choice to be honest....PLOW is proving us with a massive prize fund and supporting TORA!

Every car that enters will have a PLOW logo on their car....or they don't start

It's like when Flora put up the prize money and funding for the london run....everyone HAS to have the Flora logo, this is the same.

@Ian - How is that exactly the same? Anyone who doesn't agree to run the london marathon because of the FLORA logo is just being really stupid!

Another example would be Red Bull. They sponsor a LOAD of things, outside of the race teams they run. They are connected by name only.

I'm sorry guys but this is really stupid! I'm ending it right here by saying I'm not going to put PLOW on my car! Thats it! End of! And it won't be my problem either. It'll be yours by throwing someone out of a series by them not running with a logo they are not comfortable with. Less numbers turning up! I wonder why???

Richy! I said "End Of". Besides, I didn't know what AG tuning was until after the series had finished which we used them for. If I had known, I wouldn't have bothered with it.

This is 100% the same, what is they work or utterly butterly....i'm sure they would still run.

And yes you ARE being very stupid and to be honest I don't think TORA need narrow minded members etc etc, if this is you leaving we can all stat the betting AGAIN for when you will come back
