Stephane is paying to keep these cars racing, have at it and he's not going to have enough cars to start a car boot sale the way things are going.

He was sticking up the vicky or waving or something at him as he drove past. Perhaps out of his anger he drove ''too close''..

After watching the video on a bigger screen, I think he did it by accident. He drove close to make gestures, and when he faced to the left he steered left too being one handed and messed EVERYTHING up

Re: 2011 FIA GT1 World Championship
I feel very sorry for Darren Turner after today, yesterday he was took out by Brabs, and today his team mate was spun out by another Nissan and sought revenge ending their race. Mucke was a complete fool, he's raced in sportscars for long enough to know that incidents like these happen, you don't often see things like this in motorsport and it's something that you don't expect to see from professional racing drivers!

Re: 2011 FIA GT1 World Championship
Ok had a great weekend up at Silverstone. Was posted on the old pit straight so we didn't get ahuge amount of action apart from two maybe three fires and a Corvette which clearly didn't wan't to stop at the the 'party post'!
I'll fill you guys in later!
As was on duty throughout there's no pics form me

Chris & Me & Biggs have a number of pics from today looking forward to new GT format next year and more cars hopefully they will be as lou next year but I doubt it
Re: 2011 FIA GT1 World Championship
Having now seen that incident between Mucke and JCW I have to say.... what a tit!
We also had a 458 turn in on a Z4 at Copse and pitch itself into the wall hard. A Trofeo Gallardo that wouldn't go out, it jst HAD to burn, and a good couple of people driving like numpties.

Re: 2011 FIA GT1 World Championship
Having now watched the race on the website, it does look a bit strange. As Crofty put it, if it was revenge then it was dangerous and deserves the highest possible penalties. If it was a scare tactic then it was completely stupid and still deserves severe penalties.
According to Watty, Mucke has a history of driving very close to drivers who have aggrieved him. Perhaps he just wanted to take his wing mirror off but in the end he placed the Nissan and the marshals on the wall in jepordy. Utterly stupid and completely indefensable.

Re: 2011 FIA GT1 World Championship
Extremely poor driving for the Ford GTs. Very poor, reminds me of certain people on Forza, taking the "harpooning" approach and cutting corners!
Re: 2011 FIA GT1 World Championship
The Marc VDS Ford GTs. Naughty naughty!
Points for two PIT manoeuvres in one corner?

And Mucke hits Westbrook again. There's a surprise.

I think it was Enge and he didn't hit him, he just put his car in a place where if he turned in they'd both be taken out, don't get why the commentators were praising Enge for the move i thought it was a tad out of order!

Re: 2011 FIA GT1 World Championship
Yeah, Enge passed clean, but Mucke hit him.
How that guy (Mucke) retained his racing license, after Silverstone, I'll never know.
It was a bit of a "robust" move from Enge, I agree. I like the guy though, he tends to put his hands up and apologise if he causes a crash, and you don't find many drivers who do that.

Re: 2011 FIA GT1 World Championship
I have to disagree with you Nick on the Enge/Wesbrook overtaking manouver. I thought Enge was very brave to stick one up the inside and he managed to execute it well. It was true that if Wesbrook wasn't aware that Enge was on the inside, it would have ended up in a collision.
However, I do agree on the Mucke/Westbrook incident. Very rash I think and he's a lucky chap to still be racing after Silverstone.
