Scuderia MARTINI's Team Principle and Driver 1, AJzero, had this to say about the deal,


"I am highly excited about partnering with MARTINI for the foreseeable future. MARTINI have a distinct and highly successful history in motorsport, including, Formula 1, Rallying, Le Mans, Touring cars and even powerboats! We intend to carry on their success and our own."


When further asked about his thoughts about the coming season, at the announcement party at the Ritz London, his told us this;

"The decision for us to enter the BTC championship was easy! But choosing the car to race was not! We have spent the last three weeks building and testing many many cars in anticipation of the release of the official car list last week.
We chose BMW's MINI Cooper S as we were impressed by its acceleration, low speed handling and responsiveness.
We also think it will be the chicest car on the grid and fits in perfectly with ours and MARTINI's racing philosophies, "Winning is important, but so is looking good!"
I believe that this season will play host to the largest grid ever and is bound to produce some spectacular racing!
We will announce our goals soon but I can tell you now that we will be aiming high!"

In other news, we are proud to anounce that Chaddy2K8 has signed a 1 year deal with Scuderia MARTINI!

AJzero has called this signing, "promising" and boasted that Chaddy2K8 is "one of the BGTA's hot new prospects, currently lying seventh in the BGT .

Chaddy2K8 will be racing with the number 4.
AJzero will be racing with the number 14.


The team now head off to europe to commence final testing and preparations.

We are running a lighter blue and not as a dominate colour.

Breaking NEWS:

cG MagiC has decided to withdraw from the BTCC due to an abysmal 1st race and cannot commit the time necessary to race on a tuesday.

He wishes all of the drivers the best of luck and will be continuing to race in the BGT

there cant be 2 Seat wrks teams? lol M&M Racing are already the Seat Btcc works team! Have been since we signed for the cars....after all they wanted the team with the fastest drivers, didnt want to look silly now did they

yes and we got the rights to wrks title because we got the support along with it god everyone knows that lol thats why we have it on the roof lol you think i would have help set up the season and run it and NOT to have the wrks team lol

my first btcc outing went will with a decent grid slot and three hard charging races!

race 1
ok start but not my best holding postion into the 1st turn but into the quick chicne i tapped Jenson and fell to the back of the train. battled with the halfords cars for most of the race, pulling a gd move on Ck on the last lap for 6th

race2
ill admit i jumped the start slighty and found maself between nicky and aj, also aj had jenson beside him! anyway into the 1st turn nicky ran out wide, aj braked early and jenson took to the kerb which sent his car right in front of me which caused a crash. it involed Richy,nicky,gary,jenson & CK. ian, aj nd maself all made it threw. after the safety car i was able too show my true pace and got fastest lap and put aj under pressure threwout the whole race.

race 3
gr8 start and 1st lap saw me in 3rd by the start of lap 2 then things got crowded as a 4 car battle took palce for 3rd. on lap 6 on the run to the start finish line i let aj by but he hit the kerb and took me aff the road! lol then poor nicky came along and had a huge carsh hitting my car.

and a 6th,3rd & 7th in lobby b is a alright start to my new btcc career and with a new car hopefully on the way i hope to be right up there next time i race!

TVR_FAN1, will be replacing cG MagiC as Driver 3 for the remainder of Season 2.

News - J.Wynder pleased to re-join the Touring Cars with a team contract

Jamie today revealed that he cannot wait to return to action in the Touring Cars and maybe even have some battles with Jenson and Ck.

Well, looks like we're going to have some of the old Season 1 magic back! All we need is Luckier and the nostalgia will be overwhelming!

Good to see TVR_Fan back in a TORA series, particularly touring cars. We had a few proper battles last season, when jenson09 and TVR_Fan drove the SEAT Sport UK entries.

18th February - J.Wynder wanted to do better in his return to BTCC

Jamie today revealed, that he was not happy with his peformance after doing bad in the qualifying. But the thing, that was worst for Jamie was this:

Qualifying Time: 1:16.007
Best Lap in Race 3: 1:15.xxx

Other then that, J.Wynder revealed he is hoping to do better in the next round of the BTCC.

19th March - J.Wynder not to return for Season 3

Jamie today confrimed he would not be returing for Season 3. However he did reveal that he will be entering the future Tora Pro Touring car championship "Race Pro".

Mainly because he feels, he can do much better in the Tora Pro Touring car championship.
