Re: TASCAR - Round 6 - La Sarthe (Old Mulsanne) - 17th September
IN i think the only way i can win this is if i win all the remaining race and Dan comes last and misses one of the races. No pressure then
Also is there a points table for the Truck series?? I cant find it and i think ive got a better chance of winning it.

Remember all, qually will take place 1/2 hour before the race lobby opens. If anyone arrives to race who haven't qualified, they will line up at the back of the grid dependant on their current driver standings

Re: TASCAR - Round 6 - La Sarthe (Old Mulsanne) - 17th September
It was good fun tonight, but also frustrating at the same time, especially whe you get taken out by someone. But this is racing I suppose. All I could do when I switched my headset off was just laugh! lol
It does mean that Mark has taken big chunks out of my points lead. D'OH! I was rather hoping to have a trouble free run but it defernately didn't help with the lag issues we had with Chaddy and Kilroy.
Can I add a couple more important details about the safety car situation for all championships that requires the safety car. I know everyone is keen to get going when we restart the race. But I tried to warn people about leaving space between each otherwise it would end up in collisions on the restart.
What I would like to suggest or impliment to the existing rule is that everyone should leave at least 70ft between each other and we are not allowed to fully accelerate or hit the gas pedal all the way down until the leader actually shouts go after he calls the countdown. That way, we won't have any troubles with the restarts any longer (in theory). I know I jumped quite a bit on the first or second restart but I lifted right off and gave the positions back because I wasn't sure whether I made a legal move or not.
I'm not moaning. Its just trying to learn from experiences and how we can make certain parts of our racing better for the benefit of the racing community.
Anyway, many congratulations Mark by the way for the win.
Nicky was really unfortunate because he'd developed a 20 second lead at one point before the safety car was needed on lap 10 I think.

Me and you had some pretty good racing Dan, especially side by side through Indianapolis, which was rather lush.

It was epic on that straight leading up to Indianapolis. Until I crashed into your rear bumper coming out of Indianapolis. Lol! I saw you ran wide and I was trying to cut back underneath. Thankfully, I was kind enough to gift you the position back just coming out of Arnage.

I thought the stock cars were fantastic at Le Mans.
If we could do a separate Road Racing season with these on Forza 4, it would be a lot of fun.

Re: TASCAR - Round 6 - La Sarthe (Old Mulsanne) - 17th September
We could do what we have at the moment but have a Oval championship and a Road course championship where only points from those races are counted as well as the combined overall championship

Re: TASCAR - Round 6 - La Sarthe (Old Mulsanne) - 17th September
Right, I've had enough, my idiotic teammate continues to use me as a brake and I'm getting quite fed up of it now. I know I'm not perfect, but even I know that if your right behind someone you have to brake a little earlier to avoid hitting them. And what he said really got under my skin. " if I turned off to avoid you I would of lost my position" so he's basically saying it's better to hit me off and for me to lose positions then for him to pay for his own mistake! I'm done with this now. Also, apologies for my lag issues silentalarm42.

Re: TASCAR - Round 6 - La Sarthe (Old Mulsanne) - 17th September
I doesnt matter. Lag is no ones fault and the only bad thing was it happened at the fastest part of the track. And tbh some of Jamie's driving was questionable to say the least. I was stuck behind him for most of the race and one of the times i managed to get past him on the mulsanne straight, he gave me a tap coming out of the mulsanne corner and it spin me round. I mean you dont just drive through someone if you get a better exit!!

Re: TASCAR - Round 6 - La Sarthe (Old Mulsanne) - 17th September
This was a tough track for braking though. Getting the car slowed down from 200+ mph down to 40 or 50 for Mulsanne corner is hard!
I'm looking forward to these next two oval races.

Re: TASCAR - Round 6 - La Sarthe (Old Mulsanne) - 17th September
I agree, that track has the two hardest braking zones of the season at Mulsanne and Indy but the collision happened after the corner when we were applying the throttle. I had bet Jamie under brakes going into Mulsanne and was ahead at the apex of the corner. I was later on the power due to my late braking and Jamie put the power on earlier and hit my rear end and i spun out. I wouldnt mind if it was looked at by the stewards but i wont help my championship hopes.

Re: TASCAR - Round 6 - La Sarthe (Old Mulsanne) - 17th September
I noticed that second caution we had at Indianapolis was triggered by Jamie coming across your nose and then sliding into PAWLY, while Dan went off trying to avoid an early braking PAWLY.

I wouldn't be so sure of that Chad. Anyone could have won that race.
I managed to get a massive 20 second lead until the chaos started
