2011 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000

Its probably the most important Touring Car race of the season. Its one of the true races left since the ''sprintisation'' of European Touring Car racing. Its Australia's answer to the Le Mans 24 Hours, the Monaco Grand Prix, the Indianapolis 500 and Daytona 500.

It is a truly epic race, and this year, an expanded global presence will be found on the mountain, with SPEED TV from the USA showing the race live with its own crew. V8 Supercar really is trying to break into the American market.

the PI 500 was a great race. Even with the wild life on the track.

as far as the race, the team vodafone cars are gonna be tough to beat. though toll and garth tander/percat kid were strong til the tires fell off...and garth tander loves him some bathurst...and percat HAS to have some confidence after a drive like that from the pit at PI...

ford teams look to have some speed too, shane van gisbergen had a great run at the end before some of the car broke...

phillip island was a mega race, and i cant wait for bathurst. big crowds. lots of beer. it's always a fun event to watch.

Motors have done for the last few years, plus it's 7's coverage of it so you get some awesome commentating!

bmwdvl's youtube looks like likely to be blocked soon as his uploads of the L&H 500 got blocked by telsa big pond.

triple 8 should win again his year in the 888 car, plus they just won the L&H 500

the L&H 500 rac has been uploaded by someone else in 15 parts i think which hasn't been blocked, and i'll be very suprised if the 888 car doesn't win Bathurst but as it's such a long race anything can happen!

It has been blocked. Some parts are listed, but they have blocked some of the parts.

Percat and Thompson are two very fast Fujitsu Series guys, but I'm not sure how well they will run at Bathurst.

Once again, Lowndes is teamed up with Skaifey, which makes them the team to beat.

completely ridiculous that they are blocking coverage overseas and on the internet.

V8 Supercars really are going about it like FOM.

In Australia, V8SC is considered as ''Australia's F1'', and this seems to be getting to the heads of the big wigs in charge, who desperately wish to be like NASCAR and F1.

The whole Red vs Blue thing is completely manufactured, its turned V8SC into redneck racing!

If it were up to me, i'd rename the whole thing the Australian Touring Car Championship and either let more makes in, or switch to a more ''European'' compatible ruleset.

Its like a BTCC advert! Selling it on the crashes..
