Re: TORA ISCC 2012 Update.
I posted this on this elsewhere but thought it should be here for consideration in 2012.
Something to consider for future GT races: If the 458 is the only car that comes stock with race brakes, that's an unfair advantage. The cars without race brakes of course can't adjust pressure or bias. This makes a huge difference to wheel users since the stock pressures are too low. From discussions with some controller users it also makes a difference to them. Adding race brakes only increases the PI by 2 but makes a big difference when you competing against the 458.

Re: TORA ISCC 2012 Update.
yea Louis, will have a look when fanatec arrrives race breaks are a must for wheel users
Re: TORA ISCC 2012 Update.
well as of right now, i don't see any issue with it because any advantage gained is out the window as all cars with have the same brakes

Re: TORA ISCC 2012 Update.
Louis issue is ppl using wheel cant ajust break resure so they will lock up easy option to allow race breaks on all GT2 cars
Re: TORA ISCC 2012 Update.
I also run a very high brake presure, compared to most, due to my controller configuration. In a recent race with the VM guys, the 458 was braking 2 to 3 car lengths deaper into the corner than anyone with the stock brakes. They mandated no parts, so only the 458 had adjustable brakes as they come stock.

The point in LMPC is that it is only one car.

Re: TORA ISCC 2012 Update.
If you've seen an ALMS race over the past two years, there has been an LMPC class, which is essentially the cars that were in "Formula Le Mans" back in 2009, a series which ran as a support to the Le Mans Series, it eventually snuck into the LMP2 class of the 2010 and 2011 Le Mans (Endurance) Series (the championship that involves 1000km/6 Hour races), Its essentially a "toe-in-the-water" for anyone wanting to take part in the world of endurance racing, as does the GT-C class in the ALMS which is all Porsche GT3cup cars, Level 5 took part in this LMPC class in 2010, they then moved into a P2 Lola for the ILMC.
The LMPC/Formula Le Mans car has ALWAYS been an Oreca chassis with a Chevrolet engine, hence why there are no more cars in this class.

Re: TORA ISCC 2012 Update.
LMPC = Single-make Formula, not unlike GP2 (or indeed, GP3, Formula 2, Formula Renault 3.5, 2.0, Forumla.... etc)

Re: TORA ISCC 2012 Update.
There's no such thing as a silly question
Because it's not really one of the 'well known' classes it's not a suprise you haven't heard about it.
It doesn't attract a huge amount of coverage from either ILMC as it was or ALMS particularly, that's reserved for the LMP and GT2 side of things. But it's a great proving ground for new talent and more importantly for teams who at this stage are not able to run in the big leagues but want to build their profile for a year or two.
