You know that feeling when certain tracks hate you for one way or another? Yeah...

Abarth 500 Trophy actually went suprisingly well. I qualified 4th on the grid, next to Pawley. I got 3rd in the first race. Went one step better by fighting tooth and nail with Chad for 2nd. Must of felt like the whole race I was battling with him, but no matter. I eventually won that battle. With the grids reversed for the final race of the day, I jokingly bet to Ian that the loser would have to "sacrifice his bathplug". Having spun out with two laps left in the race, I finished 8th overall. Sorta an ant-climax after the 2 podiums for me.

Now, for Forza Le Mans Series...

Things didnt look great for this round, especially coming off the best debut ever for this team. Marino Franchitti would start first, and I'd take over in the pit stops. As expected in qualifying the team was way off the pace. something to the tune of 2 seconds of the pace.
For the race itself, the start was okay. He was just ahead of the Acura for the early part of the race, but then ran wide. Mikeem overtook him, and he was gone after that. As if that wasn't bad enough, Marino then ran into the back of ShiftyF1 in his #77 Mazda. This caused us to pit and change drivers earlier than expected. After experiencing the downward slope in which I managed to spin out 3 times, we finished 3rd overall. So all in all, a bittersweet week.

Next stop: Infineon Raceway and Iberian Full. We'll see you there.
