Abarth 500 Trophy actually went suprisingly well. I qualified 4th on the grid, next to Pawley. I got 3rd in the first race. Went one step better by fighting tooth and nail with Chad for 2nd. Must of felt like the whole race I was battling with him, but no matter. I eventually won that battle. With the grids reversed for the final race of the day, I jokingly bet to Ian that the loser would have to "sacrifice his bathplug". Whats going on everyone, Ravewest here to inform you that we are back! Sort of.

First, the Abarths. phew, those are such great fun! I pulled off an epic lap to come within less than .2 of a second behind the Rizla M&M of Ian! Maybe we accidentally pulled a lap of the gods at Silverstone at the excat same time? As Ive learned though, the tide can change extremely quickly. I managed a string of 4ths in the end of it all, but not before having an epic showdown with the Marnagoni Motorsport of Rogue. Good job man!

Having fallen out spectacularly with Olivier Quisnell about the ISCC, Im now selling off the chassis that formely served me well. This message is for any driver/team wanting to make the ultimate step up into P1. Glass has been repaired, and is in good condition.

We catched up with Ben, who is very angry with his 908 being impossible to catch up to the others.

Track Reporter: Uhh, are you okay?

Ben: Yeah, but Ive had about enough with Peugeot. Maybe it was a miscalculation on my part once again, but in general, it accelerates like a slug. Good in the corners but otherwise... Just has terrible acceleration.

Down in the garage of the No 10 Peugeot, you'll find a dissapointed but almost certainly optimistic Ben Chalk (iZ GunDaM). He finished 4th overall, and now knows the objective when we next go racing at Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. We sent our trackside reporter to ask how his race went

Because it turns out Ravenwest wont be participating in the TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans at all.

Its a shame, but hey... No worries, cause it means it saves time on the transport, and saves time for me as well. You see, in less a weeks time, Round 9 and 10 in the TORA GT will be at Mugello, where the kerbs are pretty much your enemy. And the week after that, the ISCC make the arrival at Montery, California for Round 1 of the American Leg at Laguna Seca.

As usual though, all is well at Ravenwest.

Round 7: Spa Francorchamps

Well, I dont know about you, but I feel like this race has pretty much severed all criticism that I had turned into a reckless driver bent on colliding into absolutely anything. And yes, I did the fight to the Maserati's, but ultimately they prevailed. No matter though, I am deeply impressed with how it went, and to complete a first season strong like this in the GT1 is just... Wow.

Round 3: Miami - Bayside Run

You know... This debut race wasnt all that bad. Sure I messed up here and there, but it couldnt have gone any better apart from those two mistakes. And sure, I couldnt repeat my historic victory, but still. All went well, and I hope that GT1 only gets better from here!

During the final practice session, I actually managed to get a perfect lap in on the very last one of the session (Theres the confirmination of it as well), which put me .273 seconds behind the Reiter Lamborghini of VVV Magictap (1:36.423...

We were in the Nurburgring, with our new sponsers and all, desperately trying to pass up the time before the big race as we literally had no idea if we were going to finish or not, so a pit member of the team decided to stick this Skull onto the Peugeot 908 while the car was resting from the deglazing.

I questioned him into what that was, and he said that it was a "good luck charm, designed to encourage you in the heat of battle". I decided to go with what he said, and I remember looking and saying to...

Having gone to the Tsukuba circuit and being very impressed by what I saw (My favourite there would have to be the VVV Audi R15's), I remember thinking "I have got to go and enter this fantastic looking championship! I mean how hard can it be?" and actually wanting to enter.
I had no idea on what livery I should pick to be part of the new team... And then it hit me while playing Codemaster's Race Driver GRID on one random day, I noticed a great looking team called "Ravenwest" with the grey and black stripes...

Me and eizoxian seem to be getting on okay so far. Ive signed up for his team, and in return, he's just entered my team for the upcoming Le Mans 2.4 (which happens in 2 months time!). Im hoping to feed as much information as possible to him in the times ahead. Now while Im still writing, I cant help but post this. I do think its the best photo Ive ever taken.

Reason Ive been away for so long is that the XBL membership had ran out of juice and I couldnt find any new ones... Until now.

You see, with my birthday arriving in two days time and the TORA Le Mans 2.4 around the corner, now I figured would be a good time to get back on the track. And with DAN 2605 making a temporary reappearance, Le Mans going to light up so much that it'll burn out the sun.

Having been away for long (due to the membership problems), we've only got one object in mind: Go...

Ravenwest doesnt know how to soften the blow, so we'll just come straight at you: We've decided to shift concentration for Forza 4.

In other words, we are dropping out of the ISCC. The membership cards have expired, and we cant get any stocks on them at all (theyre suprisingly rare!). Rest assured though, you haven't heard the last of the Raven. After all, who can ever forget the win on the Nurburgring?

Before we sign off though, I'll let you into a secret; I shall be working with Sumo Power GT500 for IFCA JGTC 12, as the fuelling guy. Basically this means Ive got to pump...

Well, Silverstone went well. At least we think it did.

Qualifying wise, it was poor. We only got going on the last minutes, and by the time we finished, we ended up being something like nearly a second off pace. Then we discovered that the TCS broke down (This topped with the chassis and the shock absorbers got some of the crew members to near ultimatum). And then by the wonders of magnets, it got working again.
The race went much better, as we had a great tussle with the Gulf Austins Aston of ADx Garage that ended when they entered the pits. During the last 15 minutes or so, I...

With the pressure of the holidays off our mind, we now proceed to march into Silverstone with absolutely and only one intention: Win at every cost given.

Having had an all time low (In which the chassis nearly fell off the car and the shock absorbers were completely ruined), we were feeling like Mugello pushed us almost beyond breaking point.
Happily, we were invited to the House of Firestorm whilst going home, and the rest was history.

Everyone swarmed around it, which really, said alot....

Newcomer team Ravenwest Racing will make their arrival at Nurburgring, Silverstone and will even make the entire leg of Europe (If they can renew their ID cards).

Whilst they wont be challenging for any titles, they hope to be competitive enough to keep up with VVV and Gulf Austins Motorsport.
