Re: 2012 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
I wouldn't take anything from the times from the first test really, last year i think Williams were the quickest car after either the first day or at the end of the first test so it's far too soon to tell who's got the ultimate pace or not!
Apparently the Mclaren and Red Bull looked the most stable in the slower corners and suprisingly Webber was the quickest through the speed trap, so maybe that's what Mr Newey's been trying to improve in the Red Bull, is making the car more drag efficient without loosing any downforce, if so that'd be a huge worry for the rest of the field being a Red Bull that's quick everywhere!

I'm never one to play up to the whole Senna hype.. But, never the less....

I don't like the word ''spooky'', because it's not spooky, it's coincidence.. But yeah.

Re: 2012 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
I think I would have taken Rubens or even Sutil over Petrov. And I still don't understand why no one has rescued Glock's talent from the disaster that is Virgin/Marussia.

Because, it's about the money, not talent, as has always been the case with motorsport.

Weren't Trulli and Heikki both paid drivers? Caterham/Lotus said from the start that they didn't want pay drivers didn't they?

Well, Petrov is driving for them, so that answers your question.
Being a pay driver isn't a bad thing though.

Re: 2012 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
You: Hi do we know which monthly ticket option Sky f1 will be available in?
Sushant: Hello, you're chatting with Sushant, a Sky advisor, may I take your name please?
Sushant: Hi, I do understand.
Sushant: You will have to select the Sports+Entrainment to watch F1 channel on Monthly Ticket.
Sushant: That will cost you £35
Sushant: Just to let you know, there is a short survey to express your views and thoughts on the service you have received today. This can be completed by clicking the “End Chat” button after you come to the end of this chat with me.
Sushant: Is there anything else I can help you with today?
So the cheapest way to watch F1 is £35 on top of your xbox live gold sub, no thanks sky more Justin TV

VIP Box is a good one.
Let's just hope Sky Sports don't go on a streaming crackdown..

Re: 2012 FIA Formula 1 World Championship
Someone on F1 Rejects did the maths, based on the yearly TV License*
Now add to that what Sky do, and its not as simple as just asking for the F1 Channel, your looking at a decoding box and someone putting up a mini sattelite dish in some awkward position on your outside wall, which will receive a plethora of channels dedicated to nothing relating to the thing that you wanted to get to see, thrown in with a couple of interesting and popular programmes...
Even if I wanted to watch F1 this year Sky can go autocorrect themselves, and I'm not watching sloppy seconds on the BBC. I'm already in the midst of Operation Nosecut-Facespite.
For the Benefit of Mr. Kite and our American Cousins:
*something that the UK pays for to keep the BBC going, for their radio services and their free-to-air channels BBC1, 2, 3, 4, News 24, their "Red Button" broadcasts (which inluded the F1 Practice sessions and the ability to watch the race while listening to the alternate commentary provided by BBC Five Live), Their radio stations Radio 1, Radio 2, Radio 3, Radio 4, Five Live, BBC 6 Music, BBC 7(or has that stopped?). Then add to that the Free to air channels that you DONT ahve to pay the license for, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and all their subsidiary channels...
2011 Season: £145.50 (€174.61 or $228.33)

Good to see Vipbox is back online. They were offline during the super bowl and i was afraid that they were one of the sites that the feds shut down right before that game.
