Will does GP2 and GP3 coverage for the UK. nd he does a good job. Pretty sure he used to race to.. Think it was in Clios but not sure.

I was camping at Silverstone from Wednesday and my god it was treacherous. It could have been worse, though. I think us Brits just put up with the weather anyway and mutter under our breath with the moaning!

Great atmosphere, got some great pictures (which will be on Facebook at some point), highlight was getting a picture of Alonso in third practice JUST as he spun the car coming out of Club.

Happy for Webber, wouldn't mind him winning the championship however his UHHH interviews really don't UHHH give a good charismatic UHHH impression of being a super driver. Shame most of the overtakes happened in DRS zone though.

Yeahhh... shouldn't be doing something like that in a 40mph corner at the start. I haven't made my mind up whether it's harsh or not so I'll sit on the fence.

Though I have seen many other incidents that haven't resulted in a driver being banned for a race. Last time was Schumi in 1994, he's caused at least 2 incidents since (later that year with Hill, and THAT incident with JV springs to mind).

Shame for Grosjean, though hopefully he'll flourish like Vettel did and get all of the silly mistakes out of the way this year and come back strong next season.

I think a whole one race ban is a little on the harsh side.

Similar moves have never received such penalty. The penalty is only really there as a knee jerk to the massive pile up which it caused.

Grid penalty - yes. Race ban? Really?

I guess that's true too, but I still haven't found out, what did webber get a penalty for during Qualy that put him in 12th? And why did he go to 12th if he qualied 6th?

7th, and it was a gearbox change I think.

I understand thta in its own element its a harsh penalty, but apparently has has had contact or a crash in turn 1 in 7 of the last 12 races, or something?Maybe that statistic was a deciding factor

Ah, that would make sense then.

I haven't watched an F1 race since Valencia, so I have not witnessed the full extent of Grosjean's driving!

So who's replacing him then? Will Nick 'joy of sex beard' Heidfeld get the call up?
