The worst thing we have to put up with not just when it all kicks off, yes we're going to have three lions smeared at us from all angles, that's not the worst of it. It's going to be the adverts in the build up, because they've kicked off already. You'd swear we'd never heard of Subway before Pele, oh bugger we did, bloody olympics.

What a year of MLS that was--Portland did a massive turnaround to go from third-bottom to third-top, and sealed a CONCACAF Champions League berth in the process!  


Plus, on the international stage, America gets drawn into one of the 3 "Death Groups" against teams we are supposed to have zero chance against. Well, we're against Ronaldo, Ozil, and Boateng, with our current star player...Tim Howard? Well...America didn't have a chance anyways  

Today just did my personal best in 5km running. 17:39 pretty chuffed with that to be honest. However anyone know if this is good at the age of 18?

Hoping to do a half marathon in October so kick starting the training.   

Running is the most horribly boring 'sport' I've ever had the displeasure of doing. I hate running, but it must be done

yeah mate, that's quick, thats nearly a 3 minute km!!!
i tried to do a half marathon last year, but my ankle wouldn't take it and constantly died during training which sucks because i used to be a decent runner
so now i'm doing upper body muscular endurance and crossfit

Leeds United again in financial turmoil, after the current owners & would-be owner are arguing over who should pay the wage bill for March. Administration is a strong possibility. Apparently, someone thought that Leeds fans haven't suffered enough in the last 10 years...

Got my first 10km running event next month on the 7th may at no better place than Silverstone gp track.

Yep i get to do two laps of the track really dont know what to expect or what times i should aim for at 18 years old anyone know?

What should FIFA do about Luis Suarez?

Personally, I think they should ban him for life from football. This is the third time he's bitten a player so he obviously hasn't learned. If a dog bites a human they get out down, and as its illegal to put humans down (sometimes its a real shame) they must surely ban him

They need to do something with him. Its just not acceptable to have a player running around biting people.

But seriously, He should be heavily fined, Or banned for x amount of games. Maybe even be forced to take counseling or something, As he's obviously not right in the head if he deems it okay to bite members of the other team.

I never thought I'd see a team get ruthlessly dismantled like that in a World Cup semi final. I'm gob smacked. I guess it shows the true extent to which Thiago Silva and Neymar carried that team.

The Commonwealth Games are on in Glasgow, and the city is buzzing.

For those of you who dwell outside of the 71 countries and territories governed by an elderly woman named Liz, the Commonwealth Games is a bit like the Olympics, but less impressive. The games in Manchester all those years ago, however, arguably forged the UKs supremacy in track cycling and allowed the Olympics to take place in London.

The Games opened at the 60,000 capacity Celtic Park, which was reduced to 44,000 due to a big feckin screen covering the south stand. Celtic will play their Champions League ties at BT Murrayfield in Edinburgh.
