TORA NATCC - General Discussion
TORA has taken the stance that if we can garner enough interest in a North American timezone TCC, they will seriously consider running one along side the traditional TCC. With that being said I felt the best way for us to show our desire for such a series would be to develop our own tenative entry list:
1.) BuckeyeBullet20 (USA) #29 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Chevrolet Racing Team Apex
2.) Duke of Bruno (CAN) #79 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Chevrolet Racing Team Apex
3.) AMR Garage (WAL) #44 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Chevrolet Racing Team Apex
4.) gascap85 (USA) #485 Kia Forte Koup Team Dunder Mifflin
5.) Drs3man (USA) #593 Kia Forte Koup Team Dunder Mifflin
6.) Stonewall458 (USA)
7.) Chucky 1982 (GBR)
8.) Irrational Dzyn (CAN)
9.) LucidMouse503 (AUS)
10.) Fit4aking (???)
11.) Mister McGarity (USA)
12.) Rollin InAn STi (USA)
13.) Kemblewood (???)
14.)
If you are a North American TORA supporter please join in!

That I can't answer as of yet, it is entirely up to TORA staff, but I would presume we would run on Tuesdays (the same as UK TCC).

Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
Keep the entires coming guys, and even if we can't get the numbers for an official TORA sanction I will consider running this series just for us!
Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
I was thinking the same until I seen you create this thread. If you need any help with any of this let me know.BuckeyeBullet wrote:Keep the entires coming guys, and even if we can't get the numbers for an official TORA sanction I will consider running this series just for us!

We could always adopt Australia into the North American TCC? There are definitely enough Aussie's running around here already; Will Power, Marcos Ambrose, Ryan Briscoe...

I'd like to see something in North American time zones.

Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
Cool, cos that's be great for timezones, cos its hard to work with the GMT because it's usually really early in the morning, so depending on timezones, it could be same time, but at night instead of morning etc
Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
We did try this last year, and even though many people said they're up for it, only as couple of people turned up.
I really hope it works this time round!

Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
My plan is to run our first event the same day and location as the official TORA TCC, so Rounds 1 & 2 will be held next Tuesday March 6 @ 8pm EST at Tsukuba.
Rules and regulations will be per the official TORA TCC rulebook.
Questions? Just ask here or PM me.
IF (and this is a big if) we do not get the participation we all want and that TORA deserves, I will pull the plug at a future date. I want and fully expect us to have a very competitive and fun time, we've got to build the TORA North American foundation guys! INVITE YOUR FRIENDS!

Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
Weeknights are very tough for me so if it stays at 8pm EST, I have to change my IN to OUT. 8:30pm EST is the earliest I could do, unless it is on a weekend. Work sucks, haha

Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
I will set up a thread for this with a bit more of an 'official-ness' about it and if you guys can continue to run it we can make tables etc to get it going. Mark, Conner and Louis, our American Staff members might be able to help out during the races and answer any question etc relating to TORA, plus you can just send me a message and I can help with things.
To balance it a bit more for the various time zones however I would recommend that the qualifying and races start from 9pm EST on a Tuesday, or on a Saturday night at 8pm EST.

Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
With today being the last tuesday before the start of this unofficial season, how about a North America TCC "Winter Test"/"Media Day" tonight? We can use the meeting to figure out what time to run this thing and show off what we have for cars in the process.Irrational Dzyn wrote:Weeknights are very tough for me so if it stays at 8pm EST, I have to change my IN to OUT. 8:30pm EST is the earliest I could do, unless it is on a weekend. I wish I could but tonight is my a special night for me and the lady...no getting out of that
As for time related issues, I'm okay with starting qualifying at 9pm EST if everyone else is.
