Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
I'm really looking forward to the full release over here, hopefully it comes out on Blu Ray but if not I'll just get it when I am in Boston. I've got an american Blu Ray player for such a purpose.
Anyway, we're going off topic

Back in the day I was Last race I ran was in '05. Final 2 seasons were spent team hopping through ICC, started with TrackMagic (got to work with Memo Gidley at a STARS event), then went to a small group called Green Flag, and finished with Rocket Racing/MRP, North America's Birel importer (or at least they were). Believe it or not I once was nationally ranked by Skusa (SuperKarts USA), even won a pro race driving for Rocket/Birel. Over 6 seasons I racked up 8 championships across 5 different classes, and now I'm an online racing backmarker
It's been 6+ years and I still miss it, great times. Best of luck to you mate!
Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
get back into man! im able to do it off of a $250 per week in-come! I'm not a national level driver but working towards that! we have a bunch of gillards down here if you want to ever fly down and have a go in one, i'm sure my teammate chris grektorp can hook you up with a good deal. btw what's your real world name? may have heard of ya

I've met Dismore before, nice guy, ran at his track Newcastle a number of times, always seemed to finish 2nd there , but what a great sprint track!
Real name is Zach Casto, doubt you've heard of me, haven't been around in nearly 7 years...I did have a pretty epic shunt at Barber Motorsports Park though, October '04, during the Grand-Am weekend. Put me up for 5 months...cost me my spot in the F-BMW scholarship run-off in Spain (Valencia, I believe).

Wow, EKN, that takes me back, lol...
I bet you've heard of some of the "kids" I raced against:
Graham Rahal, Bobby Wilson, Scott Speed's younger & faster brother Alex, Tomas Scheckter, Alan Rudolph (shifter legend), Lucas Wolfe (WoO).

Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
Great racing guys. Congrats to Mark on the overall win and Irrational who held on to win the 2nd race.
Sorry to Louis for the sneak attack, was trying to surprise Mark and got a little ahead of myself. In hindsight, that was an incredibly stupid move on my part.

Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
Points updated.
Things to note:
- This series includes the dropped round rule, where we take away your lowest points-scoring meeting away from your total points score.
- Due to a team having a 3-car effort, I'm only scoring the top 2 drivers per team for the Team's championship.
- Only using the top-scoring car for the manufacturers championship.
- Teams' and Manufacturers' Championships DO NOT include the dropped round score.

I would like to thank everyone who participated tonight!
What a great way to kick off the NATCC! Invite your friends to sign-up for the series, and let's keep building momentum week by week!.
Congratulations to Mark (Rollin) for his win in Race #1 and the overall, and to Irrational for his win in Race #2...well deserved gentlemen.
Again, thank you all for turning up, it means a great deal to me!
**Can't wait to see the replay of Race #2, holy cow did Irrational dive-bomb Turn 1, lap 1

LOL yes. I like that...BuckeyeBullet wrote:

Anyway, this was my first race win in any series in Forza, and my first TORA race win! Also, a total fluke. Can't tune so just went with the default settings. If anyone has a Sentra tune or can offer help, I'd be grateful. Duke, thanks again for the Cobalt tune, appreciate it.
Sorry about no mic/voice, will have it in the future. See you gentlemen at the back of the grid next race.
EDIT -- FYI, Kemblewood and I are on the same team: Chronophobic Racing (just saw the other post and we had "???" by our team names)
EDIT2 -- speaking of dive bombing.... just watched race 2 mostly from Duke's and Rollin's perspectives. Epic.

If the next round of races go as well as they did at Tsukuba, the 2am Wednesday Morning stint will be a permanant fixture for me.

Re: TORA NATCC - General Discussion
Look what got it's own shiney new section
Things are looking good for the NATCC, so we'll keep pushing and promoting it.
Rules of course don't 100% apply to the NATCC i.e. Live Timing on the site but the seires is fully fledged and heopfully we can build up some more members to race in it.
